It's interesting to see Jermaine Franklin before and after becoming a full-time professional fighter. Up to and including Whyte he's been a Warehouseman working a regular job and fighting on the side. He kept up with full-time pro Whyte just fine. Now, a few months where the only thing he focused on is training and that's quite the body transformation. Lost something like 20 lbs it seems.

Regardless this is boxing, the American was brought over here to lose and would have needed a ko or a big points gap to get the decision, he did show up well against dillian got paid and now he is in against AJ . Who would he have been fighting if he had won against dillian ? That loss has launched him into big time boxing,

At this point in his career, I have some doubts about AJ being an elite fighter, since he was exposed himself by Ruiz and Usyk. However, I command AJ for choosing a dangerous enough opponent for his comeback fight, and if he gets an easy win I will give him the credit he deserves.

I think this will be a decent fight. I think that I am mostly curious to see what AJ looks like now that he's been training in Errol Spence's and the Charlo's camp with their trainer, Derrick James....hopefully AJ will come out more impressively than he did in his last few fights. I think AJ still has the ability to be a top tier heavy weight, he just has to still want to be. He still has to ignite that fire again....
If he stops prancing around pretending to be a boxer and becomes the destroyer again then he has a shot of winning it all again. I still think AJ could have beaten Usyk if he didn’t have terrible game plans both times. The only person I think he can’t beat is Fury.
@@brucebanner645 -- I think AJ can beat Fury. Their sparring sessions suggested that too. Either way, it would be a better fight than this mismatch with Franklin. It's foolish for the Joshua team to make a fight where AJ has virtually nothing to gain, and his unknown opponent has EVERYTHING to gain.

Easy fight for AJ, Franklin is perfect style for him and he will stop him early I think, AJ bulked up as he will not have to move much as Franklin will be a standing target for him unlike Usyk who’s constantly moving and will be a lot easier to hit, doubt it will go past 6

@@BlessedRarity Franklin is a brawler and that will suit AJ I think and he’s not a big heavyweight, if you stand infront of AJ and he catches you it’s game over, personally I wanted to see AJ against Wilder but Hearn will avoid that fight as it’s too dangerous for AJ,but as I said heavyweight boxing only needs one good punch and it can be lights out, I like Franklin as he’s gusty but I think he not ready for AJ tbh and clash of styles but who knows

AJ has shown up physically as expected, always in shape. Hopefully he's worked on his mentality, he's been off since the Ruiz loss. Hopefully he does what the AJ of old used to, there's some good fights to be made if he does
That’s the narrative, in reality he accepted the Ruiz loss humbly and then came back and boxed his head of for 12 rounds masterfully and then destroyed Pulev right after. Just because he fought the P4P Greatest Usyk and lost doesn’t mean his head is gone just because he got emotional on the 2nd loss.
