  • Respect to both of these fighters. I was lucky to be there and I remember this fight clearly. Feitosa clearly won the initial round and should have been advanced. That said Kazumi is as tough as nails and he smashed Fetosa's legs in the first extension such that he could barely continue. The most amazing turn around and one of the most exciting fights at that world tournament.

  • Excellent strategy by Kazumi Sensei. He seen the height of Feitosa Sensei and exploited it. Nice job. OSU!

  • There's no denying Feitosa is a good fighter, but he couldn't finish Kazumi Hajime off even if he rampaged on him like Bob Sapp did on Ernesto Hoost. His performance compared to Kazumi's performance on the second round proved he just wasn't doing much damage and exhausted himself doing all those punches and kicks. Second round came in, he's out of stamina. Out of stamina = out of fight. Kazumi capitalized.

  • Amazing, it shows that it doesn't matter if your opponent is stronger physically than you are, you can always win. Amazing fight.

  • These guys are going out like heavyweight boxers they're going all out it's just like in a real life wrestling match but much cooler these guys know how to fight in karate to give it everything they got and not holding anything back at all it's all about unleashing your inner warrior 🥋🇯🇵💪😉👍🇯🇵🥋

  • What lost Feitosa that fight was the last few seconds when he looked like he was tiring (he was clearly winning up to this point). I think the judges noticed this. What happened in the extension just proved the point.

  • He punched a lot but what is that? twice bigger, throwing like 1000 punches and you can't get one clean shot that knocks down your opponent? I'm sorry but the first round was just someone trowing a lot of punches and someone working efficiently on the legs to the point that he later knocked him down, much better karate, much better display of toughness, the best man won.

  • I do kyokushin too, but I was never taught to waste your energy spamming those oh so long punches and knees that are always missing, look at glaube, he was totally out of stamina at the extension, one kick and a couple of punches from Hajime drew the breath out of him OSU! from singapore

    @xdudedudex@xdudedudex14 жыл бұрын
  • @yocyan12 i like them both, but kyokushin really uses their own weight for their advantage (heavier=harder pound, harder kick),,,, so u cant say that that's not karate

  • Dude, I'm really sorry but in the first round, yeah, he punched a lot, but what is that? just punches, nothing clear, no technique, he's good but I don't know what he was doing on this fight, he just wanted to win because he's bigger and stronger, Kazumi waited, he worked on the legs, less but more efficient work, aganist someone bigger, I'm sorry to say this but the better won, the one that showed better kyokushin karate, sorry man but Feitosa looked terrible on this fight.

  • @aldridge1 So the ignorant JAPANESE public didn't know it was used for 25 years? The kick was not developed in Brazil, but it was polished to a whole new level, and the confidence to use it increased as it was made better and better. You don't get to have a movement called after your contry when you fight on the original culture of a martial art unless it's special, sorry.
