Back in early 80s, I was stationed in the Djibouti, we did training on assault course, American Rangers arrive to look, their Officer was offered to send his platoon into assault course, he declined, says was dangerous 😂

+Gian Santiago using the night appeture sight in the day time you won't hit a thing. The night appeture sight is a bigger hole so you can see a little easier during the night time. I work with the rifle daily, you can't hit a thing. Hence why there is a day sight appeture and a night sight appeture. I'm speaking from experience.

Tyler Witt You clearly don't use the rifle everyday, for one, it's not a rifle. It's a carbine. Henno's is an XM-177e2 with a Cobray CM203 attached Second, that's the 0-200 aperture, the other is the 300-800 yard aperture. In fact, it's even marked '0-200' on it. Last, yes, you're supposed to use the larger hole for night shooting, but that isn't it's purpose, and yes, you should be able to hit something with it, or you need to go back to the range... that's not a hydro electric plant. that is a cement factory. see the giant tumbler the first shooter was on? that's a ball mill for crushing cement to the super fine powder we use. also if a hydro plant where is the waterfall or the dam or the reservoir for feeding the water to spin the turbines? for that matter where are the turbines and generators? wonder why they didn't want to call it what it really was?

It's not true at all. Brits were equipped just fine and always have been and SF don't act like this at all. I'm an OEF/OIF infantryman and I've worked with SF (7th Group) before and they are consummate professionals and very laid back.

Northern Ireland is probably my 1st pick regarding SAS history. Its the classic cloak and dagger trade that the Regiment is really known for. Just seems a much more interesting time in history where Soldiers had to take on the profession "as spies" as well.

if you're trying to funnel people out in one direction it makes sense. looking at the layout having a pair on one line and the CAS coming in the other limits the enemies movement especially with beltfeds flanking.

According to you no SAS soldier were in tora bora and the fact we could of got OBL but you wanted him for yourselves speaks volumes. SRR is prob more of a secret now then the SAS/SBS.SAS in NI yes it was more C&D stuff getting into the IRA etc,but when you have American firms paying the IRA!.

that's not a hydro electric plant. that is a cement factory. see the giant tumbler the first shooter was on? that's a ball mill for crushing cement to the super fine powder we use. also if a hydro plant where is the waterfall or the dam or the reservoir for feeding the water to spin the turbines? for that matter where are the turbines and generators? wonder why they didn't want to call it what it really was?
I love this episode of all the Ultimate Farce series. The script writers must have watched an old WW2 classic film for inspiration as every cliche is rolled out here. Arrogant know everything Yanks, humble, under-equipped Brits, & cardboard cut-out Gunga Din villain. Excellent!

It's not true at all. Brits were equipped just fine and always have been and SF don't act like this at all. I'm an OEF/OIF infantryman and I've worked with SF (7th Group) before and they are consummate professionals and very laid back.

Northern Ireland is probably my 1st pick regarding SAS history. Its the classic cloak and dagger trade that the Regiment is really known for. Just seems a much more interesting time in history where Soldiers had to take on the profession "as spies" as well.

if you're trying to funnel people out in one direction it makes sense. looking at the layout having a pair on one line and the CAS coming in the other limits the enemies movement especially with beltfeds flanking.
