  • From an engineering approach,a few layers of shellac,would waterproof that car for at least one season! Then,after that,use plastic sign board,and reconstruct it all over again! My buddy,Aviation Metal Smith,has been working with that material for some years,and it is more imperishable,than cardboard,but still lightweight! Anyway,a magnificent piece of engineering and ingenuity! Excellent work! Congratulations 🎊 👏 💐!! Thanks again for your time and effort,plus persistence and patience!! Thanks 🚖🚙🛻🚚🚛🚚🚗!

When you consider the materials involved,the workmanship,and the outcome,Mercedes should hire those guys,for modeling prototypes,and designing monocoque frames! It takes a lot of imagination to build something from the ground up,and in the time span,that they did it in,spectacular! Anyway,they deserve credit,and some kudos,for a job,well done! Final thought,how many car companies started out of barns,in the early 1900's,and are still here,one,of course is Ford,and Mercedes too,but don't forget origins! Thank you 😊!

    • Yeah, but he never protects his eyes. The times he is actually wearing a welding mask, the eye shield is flipped up. Other times he was wearing regular sunglasses or nothing at all.
