Hey Tom Izzo, THIS is why we love March Madness. THIS is why small conference champions should get automatic bids. In fact, I'll go further. Let's cut the tournament back from 68 to 64 and remove the four schools from all the eighth-place power conference schools that go one-and-gone every year instead of taking bids from the Oaklands and Saint Peters and James Madisons of the world. Bite me.

Not only yes but HELL YES. If you can’t place higher than 6th or even 5th in your conference you don’t deserve to be in. I DONT CARE that the big 10 or whatever is a better conference than say the Big Sky. The Big Sky champ did what it had to do. They deserve to be in.

Those misses will haunt them for a long time, much prefer game winners (clutch shots) than a young athlete underperforming to decide a game under the bright lights.

Oakland was the easy one if you've watched college basketball all season. Kentucky was not that strong throughout the regular season. They were easy pickings. They ran into the wrong team in Oakland, led by veterans.
@@rayrey90 SEC in general looked overrated all year but Oakland never looked great this year. Seemed like a matchup where the talent of Kentucky would overwhelm but Oakland got hot and played their best basketball at the right time

I don’t know if the Florida vs Colorado game is really an upset? That was a pretty evenly matched game. They were 7 and 10 and had about the same record.
I am a Florida fan, so I’m not happy. But it was a fun game.
I don’t get how some teams get more teams in their tournament. I feel like we should have high seed teams that didn’t win their conference face off against the regular season champions of the other conference in a play in round. Like these SEC teams vs teams like App State.

The refs were on Yale’s side the whole game vs Auburn, horrible refereeing, worst I’ve seen in a while. Yale had 10 total fouls and Auburn had 22, how does that even happen, these TERRIBLE refs need to get called out for their terrible refereeing.

Yeah, they are going to go full NIL next year, Cal even hinted at it. The “balding” white dude from Oakland was 10-20 from 3 and had transferred for a 5th year from D-2. He shot 8 2s all year compared to ~270 3s all year. I don’t care how good all your 18 year olds especially when the best in their prime NBA players are now foreign. You gonna find out about experience when they are matched up against 21-23 year olds. Experience beats talent most of the time when the gap is that wide.
