Let's be real, critics' scores don't matter anymore on rotten tomatoes. It's only worth looking at the audience score and by that metric Argyle was a success.
Audience score means nothing as long as keyboard warriors continue to review bomb movies and games that feature queer and POC characters
I just saw this last night and had a fantastic time!
I'm not an RT reviewer, but I loved it! It's a fun multiplex action flick. Movies are allowed to be fun. Not everything has to be "art".
RT is a joke along with the very critics they pay for them to make reviews.
Went yesterday, I loved it!
Same it was a lot of fun!
Professional critics scores almost never mean anything to me. Audience scores however, the vast majority of the time, align pretty accurately with how I feel about a movie. Give me the average of what thousands of viewers think of a movie over what a few dozen "professional" critics think of a movie any day, the audience score is way more informative and close to what I feel about a film.
I've seen so much caping for this movie it's ridiculous. Abigail comes in a 10 million on a 28 million budget and its a flop. MOUW comes in 4th behind Godzilla makes 9 million on a 60 million dollar budget and no one wants to call it a flop I've seens at least 5 articles trying to spin this result. I don't know what's going on here but Guy Ritchie and Henry Cavill's PR team seem to be working overtime.
Bit early to compare it. Especially when ZSJL has +25'000 votes compared to the +500 votes on the new one...
I watched it last Saturday! It’s an excellent movie - entertaining, captivating n fun sometimes! I just love it n the characters act so well! 🎉👍🏼👍🏼💪🏻👆🏻💟😊😊
If you've seen it, lucky you. Here in the UK, there's no release date 😮
I don't rotten tomatoes because they gave cuties 83% but the audience got this one right.
No one takes Rotten tomatoes seriously. The fact the ghost busters remake got an 80%+ tells you everything you need to know.
Justice League having a 93% is one of the many reasons I don't trust Rotten Tomatoes. The masses are morons with terrible taste.
This is the way.
No one gives an Eff about what the critics think
Here in Asia his films talk 👄 of the town 😊everyone waiting but not yet available Here...next week I will try travel to Switzerland Europe..my girlfriend said available in Corso kino Zurich Switzerland..yeah..
“Although Cavill’s recent movie Arylle was a critical disappointment”. Yah I saw a 75% fresh audience score. The critic score can go straight to hell. Its all made up of stuck up, better than you, unimaginative bores anyway. Who cares what they think? He obviously did much better in this movie and that’s fantastic but lets not pretend previous movies were terrible.
Except Argylle is actually really bad.
@@toecutterjones not the point. The point being that rotten tomatoes’ critics don’t know their head from a hole in the ground.
@@wraithTASyour comment is showing that you don't understand how Rotten Tomatoes works 🤦♂️ it's a review aggregator site, not a review site. None of the critics work for RT 🤦♂️ how embarrassing to say something so ignorant with your whole chest like that
Hi
Isn't Henry like, 20 minutes in this movie?
no
Who cares what the critics say... I'll watch it and love it, on Cable because Alan Michael Ritchson(D) went woke and trashed the target audience including me.
You deserved it.
define woke
Great movie ! Does anyone really care what critics say or think ? I know I don’t
