  • I don’t know if the dialogue is true or not. I doubt it since the video May or may not have anything to do with what’s being said. It’s ridiculous to hear about a Standardbred trotting champion and be looking at pictures of Thoroughbred’s under saddle and a dressage competitor. Even if the talk is about a Thoroughbred racer and only Thoroughbreds are shown, the pictures are of many different horses. You don’t even try to find a batch with all the same markings (You went back and forth between a red horse with a wide white blaze and a bay with a star). It is a total waste of time to watch this for any other reason than to see pictures of horses.

    • I'm really sorry to hear that the video didn't meet your expectations. It sounds like there was some confusion between the visuals and the content being discussed, especially regarding horse breeds and disciplines. Your feedback is super important, and I'll make sure it's passed along to our team. We strive to make our content as accurate and enjoyable as possible, so knowing where we can improve is invaluable.

  • Wow….too much moolah 💰 for my liking, I could never own one myself…..I wonder how many of these great racers wound up down in the glue factory after their racing or breeding careers ended? Mostly I’m taking about all those potentials that fissile out after their first year of racing, or other expectations when they don’t come close to what someone wants in their lifetime or lifestyle, whether thoroughbreds or any other horse breed that can’t cut big events and are considered useless and forgotten by those who only care about the profits and money values and not the horses well-being themselves. Various horses which are bred, are also tossed aside as nothing more than a commodity to be used or sold for profit. They care nothing for the animals themselves. I’ve seen many sad individual horses winding up at auctions with very poor conditions and treated cruelly. These animals, which are mostly considered livestock, are a living breathing entity, deserving of being treated with the dignity and respect they deserve. Throughout history, horses have been serving humanity for majority and greater part of our human existence with their service to our lives. They have been in wars, conquests, battles and other conflicts, including for centuries, being a means of transportation and working together for harvesting our grains and food sources and delivering our supplies from one place to another. Yet these majestic creatures are treated with disrespect and contempt, including cruelty towards them. How little we appreciate what we have and CARE NOTHING ABOUT THEM, only as something to be tossed away as so much garbage. ALL LIFE IS SACRED AND PRECIOUS, ALL LIFE IS EQUAL…REGARDLESS OF WHAT SPECIES IT BELONGS TO. To say humanity is above all this, is denying who we are and why we exist here in the first place. WE ARE THE CARETAKERS….NOT THE BOSS OF THIS WORLD OR UNIVERSE. ALL LIFE SHOULD BE GIVEN THE DIGNITY AND RESPECT IT DESERVES, BY SHOWING LOVE, COMPASSION, AND KINDNESS TO ALL LIFE. This our true purpose in life. 👍❤️🐴🙏🏼

    • A Thoroughbred by the name of Ferdinand was put down in Japan where he was serving in the stud. He had won the 1986 Kentucky Derby among other races. His fertility had dropped off, that's why he was put down---and not by a vet----he was slaughtered. (Jan Griffiths).

      @douglasgriffiths3534@douglasgriffiths35342 ай бұрын
    • @@douglasgriffiths3534 What I understand about Ferdinand he wasn't just put down he became someone's dinner. In a lot of foreign countries horse meat is eaten. He slipped through the cracks. I understand that if the racing people had known what they did he wouldn't have been sold to them. Conscience owner/trainers will retire them to pasture on the great champions. The not so great are retired and sold to dressage, hunter/jumper riders or retrained as family pets. I'm not going to say that some aren't sold at auctions for meat. Here in the states, it's illegal, but unfortunately, they are either taken to Canada or Mexico. Unfortunately, it's not just Thoroughbreds it's happening in every breed.

    • The horses in dressage are not sored. It takes a long time to develop these gaits in a dressage horse. It is done little by little and they never wear heavy shoes, pads, chains or have agents such as mustard oil put on their legs. Tacks and other things are not put between their shoe and pad neither as this would not get the desired effect in a dressage horse. You are thinking about the "Big Lick" breeds such as the TN Walking Horse and the Racking Horse which are not dressage horses. I rode dressage for many years and I can tell, you are confused about the breeds and style of riding. Yes, I am very much against soring horses.

  • It would be nice if they kept their facts straight. They call a racing thoroughbred a 'standard bred', which is a trotting or pacing harness horse pulling a sulky, then show the horse running as a thoroughbred under saddle. (a microscopically small saddle, but definitely not in harness.) Then they show an assortment of horses with different markings, all while talking about one horse... Inconsistent. Confusing. At the very least, they need an editor before publishing their 'facts' here.

  • Dressage, pronounced: Dress’ahge ( the a in the second syllable is a short a {ahh or awe} and do not pronounce the e at the end). The accent is on the second syllable. Examples: barrage, collage, dressage, garage, massage, mirage, montage. Give your AI narrator a lesson, or use a real person.
