  • Considering the fact that there’s been millions of generations before us, him making the statement that no woman has ever taken a hippo with the bow is kind of an outlandish statement. We don’t know things that happened two thousand years ago. It’s very arrogant for him to say that. I hope his research consists of more than just a Google search for him to make that statement.

    @timothypaul6092@timothypaul60924 ай бұрын
    • Actually we do know what happened 2,000 years ago, we also know what equipment they had. You know what they’d didn’t have, steel razor sharp broadheads on carbon arrows, shot out of a highly powerful compound bow. (Which was just enough to get the job done) But you’re right, I’m sure a women built herself a homemade longbow with an old wooden arrow and a stone point and went and killed one🙄. It's not enough for us to just Google something; which is the entire world’s collective knowledge and research of countless historians, anthropologists, and archaeologists." Next time, I’ll consult the ancient scrolls, decipher hieroglyphs, and interview long-dead hunters to make sure the statement is accurate. 👍🏼

  • Well done Sarah! Quite an accomplishment. Thank you for carrying on the hunting tradition of true conservation by taking the old, mature bull that is past his breeding potential; adding much needed money to the economy and employing local workers; donating the meat; and helping to preserve this and other species for those that want to hunt, photograph or just see wonderful game animals in the future. There is no old age home for these and other animals that will eventually be eaten by lions or hyenas. You honor this animals passing, and zI honor your achievement. Hope the haters will eventually understand, but regardless - you've done well. Good on ya!

She has and remember that under armor and her husband had a huge fallout over a spearhunt for a bear. any other woman that I know that Beau hunts could have easily done that if they were Sponsored. I know for a fact she was not the first one I bet there was a native that you never even heard of that is done this to feed the tribe since they aren't her local game to Is chase.

I have always known hippos are territorial and will attack; however, 3,000 human deaths a year by hippos probably makes them more lethal to humans than the infamous Cape buffalo. Jeff

  • Congratulations! Awesome hunt. People who do not bow hunt do not realize how hard the first shot is. You can choose when and where to take it, or not to take it. That can be difficult depending on the circumstances and the prey. But when you need a follow up, take all the tension of the first shot and multiply it by 1000 as your nerves have like surged with adrenaline and emotion. Its the much harder shot to hit. I say well done! Superb! Ill admit to the nay-sayers that your sponsors may have got you there, but i didn't see any of them take the shot. Can't say enough, very impressive! Congratulations again.
