Did you know that if the asteroid that wiped out the dinosaurs from the face of the Earth would have hit another location, they may still be alive? The shallow waters of the Gulf Of Mexico instantly vaporized as the asteroid hit, causing absolute destruction. This was the Last Day Of The Dinosaurs.

  • It is a chilling thought to think there is a extinction level asteroid hurtling towards us right now, and we don't know how far away it is, or when it will hit. It could be next week, or in ten thousand years time. But it is out there, somewhere, heading directly for Earth.

  • My great grandpa was a plantation owner in Mexico at the time this happened . As a child , I would hear stories of how he helped a number of dinos to take shelter in his farm . Sadly none of them survived . Prayers are appreciated .

  • As a Dinosaur, this is 100% percent true. My dad and I were at Dino Depot at the time and my mom and sister were at home. I remember that day clearly. Everyone ran inside the nearest building and we survived! Thankfully. 😁

  • Has anyone ever been curious if the other side of the world that was not struck by a meteor, still has some type of dinosaurs that survived? Crocodiles are like dinosaurs maybe they survived the meteor shower because they were on the other side of the world and they were safe underwater deep underwater.

    • crocodiles are not dinosaurs, they belong to the taxon, pseudosuchia, which is the sister taxon to avemetatarsalia, to which dinosaurs belong to neither the other side of the word nor the seas were safe from the impact, you'd have to take shelter in small burrows, which is why the meteor killed SEVENTY FIVE PERCENT of all life on earth & all the megafauna died. but dinosaurs are still alive since birds are dinosaurs.

  • I once saw this Johnny Quest episode where he and his friends invented a time machine to go back and learn what killed the dinos. At the same time, this mad scientist created a super, necular bomb that would destroy everyone and everything on earth. With no way to defuse the bomb Johnny and his friends sent it over a million years in the past and left it there to explode. It showed that that is what killed the dinos.
