  • Such a sad day today. Started with tears because of the magnitude of what she did, and represented for 7 decades. We miss you ma’am. RIP HRH Elizabeth II you surely earned it. The only solace is that she’s with Phillip, Margaret, her Mother Elizabeth, and her Father George VI now.

    • This so-called 'Queen' was the representative of an evil monarchy that oppressed, tortured and killed millions of people over 3 centuries and looted their wealth and land. It was as horrific as Hitler. But all is forgiven and forgotten. She and the monarchy are constantly romanticized and glorified especially in the (white people controlled) American and British media (including a slew of shows on Netflix and other streaming services). It is high time the monarchy apologize for the historical atrocities and return the looted wealth back to the colonies (including the stones on her crown)

  • This documentary was made when Her Majesty was 85 years old and they were talking then about how long she would rule. If only they knew what we know now, that she lived and reigned until she was 96 years old. I am proudly Canadian, born and raised and extremely proud to be part of this great Commonwealth. I am 67 years old and remember the days in elementary school. We stood every morning and sang "God Save the Queen" which was our national anthem at the time. She is the only Monarch until recently, that I have ever known. She was and still is a remarkable woman. Although she is not physically present any longer, I watch many of her videos when I have the need to see and hear her. Seeing these videos gives me the feeling that she is not really gone, and of course, she will never be gone from my heart. RIP Your Majesty. I so admire you.

    • Hi Gina, thank you for sharing your memories of your youth and a bit about growing up Canadian; I’ve never been to your territory and it’s been my lifelong dream to visit western Canada someday. While my country is going to hell, it’s an envy, a longing I have for your country. I wish I had an opportunity to leave it. Unfortunately, I belong to what’s known as ‘The Sandwich Generation’ and I really think it’ll kill me. But I just wanted you to know that I believe you to be extremely lucky to live where you do- and how many would love to be there, while my own country continues to crumble. Best of luck to you! Wishing you and yours a happy and healthy Holiday! Love & Light from Miami Shores🦚 Stay safe mate✌🏼🌎 Have a care for one another🫧🤍

I was given a medal in 1953 to commemorate her visit to Australia and I still cherish that medal today…I’m proud of the fact I live in the era of her reign and of that medal. ❤️🕊️🕊️🇦🇺🇦🇺

I saw the Queen twice when she came to Australia in the early years. She was a remarkable woman. She always put duty first, often above and beyond She will always be remembered by so many people worldwide and the love she was shown was because of who she was. • I have loved the Royal family since i was a little girl. Queen Elizabeth II is the only Queen i have grown up with. I didn't see her coronation because i wasn't born yet but i as many other have watched many times on You Tube and on special reports on TV and in Newspapers and Magazines. It was a great shame that her father being as ill as he was would send his Daughter away on a diplomatic tour of the Common wealth the Daughter he held in the highest esteem only for days later she would have to fly back home. She was very close to her Father he taught her how to be a Royal and How to be a Queen, I have to say he did a remarkable job in that regard. She has never put a foot wrong when it comes to duty to her people. As for the Political opinion i think it was probably best she kept it to herself i am sure there have been many a time where she has shook her head wondering what the heck they were thinking. Despite everything that has happened good and bad during her time as Queen of Great Britain and the Commonwealth she was one of the best monarchs the countries have ever had. She earnt our respect for her during the war when she insisted in doing her part to help out in the forces, she has earnt our respect in keeping her opinion's to herself and she earnt our respect in how she dealt with her Fathers death and the way she dealt with problems in her family and crisis's around the globe. The general Public can be very cruel when it came to the death of Diana. Even though Diana had been divorced from Charles for many years she was well loved by the Royal family and as a grand Mother she saw the importance of keeping the young princes away from the news so they could have their father explain to them that their Mother had died in a car accident. William was the elder of her two Sons and was a young man almost Harry was quite a bit younger than William so it was as equally hard for both of them to comprehend the situation at first i am sure. The Queen did her duty as Queen and as a Grand Mother for those two boys who had had their world turned on its head. The Queen made a point of saying so in her speech when she returned to London Later that day. The General public i think got the message on that regard. So they should have, i did. I agree with her, She promised the country and the commonwealth that she would dedicate herself to service of her peoples and she did exactly that. she did it with style grace and an unwavering loyalty she was an ambassador to Great Britain and i couldn't think of anyone who could have done it better than she did. Rest in Eternal Peace you served your peoples well your Majesty, You are back where you belong with the rest of your family and your husband once more. Enjoy your rest you above all peoples have earnt it Ma'am. God Bless the Queen. Long Live King Charles!

  • Well done. I still can’t believe she is gone from us. It’s been a year but I still can’t wrap my head around it. In my mind it’s Friday, and she’s at Windsor. Of course she was a person with so many great attributes and flaws as we all have. But her dedication to Duty for all those years……. And that shallow narcissistic Tony Blair, who took her Britannia away from this loyal servant, still breaks my heart for her. RIP, good and faithful servant. No one like you will ever come again.

    • You are so right! She was our Queen too. She is all I know. I was fascinated by her as a little girl and my mother was too. She bought every magazine or paper that had the young Queen in it and would read me the articles. I was born in March of 1952. I continued my mother’s tradition and would read or watch anything about her. I miss her dearly and the world has changed since her death.

If the UK loses the monarchy, they will find the esteem in which they are currently held will slide quite far down and they will become just another group of island countries. As an American, I still miss Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.

  • JACKIE Kennedy was right on target when she said, “If you don't raise your children well (as a priority) nothing else you do matters.” (I'm paraphrasing a bit here.) Elizabeth's children were pushed aside with little affection or involvement during their formative years. This will never happen with William. I just feel sorry for the manner in which the kids were raised. Elizabeth and her mother more or less forced Charles to marry a women too young and inexperienced for him instead of his true love. We saw how Diana was hurt. You can be a queen AND a wonderful mother- why not?

  • She was among the more visible British queens to date, due to the times she lived in, but Victoria, another noted egomaniac that seemed to like having everything named after herself, stood on an equal footing. And so did Elizabeth I.
