    • Most of the time yes, with the snake it felt a bit more logical. Lots of people are irrationally scared of snakes and I doubt people want to be that close to “the most venomous” one. Although it may be say too.

    • It shows like this hosting these animals that really promotes conservation. They are offering them a free platform to speak about the beauty of nature and animals. The trade off is to annoy the animals for a few minutes of entertainment. This is probably the most heroic thing Jimmy Kimmel does.

    • Not really. Larry is a brave comedian and a brave actor, but wild animals are not really his thing. I could see him saying, "Ahh, you know what? You guys go 'head. Yeah, I'm not into it. Seeya." with a lot less provocation than a squirming, biting, scratching, yowling mountain lion.

    • JD Because animals like these that can’t be released back into the wild are “Zoo ambassadors”, you have to get them used to different environments so they are most comfortable. The best time to do that is when they are very young.
