Although I believe riggs pulled through in the end for the win, I still think one of these men should have won.
He would have won had he not gone down rd 2. Losing that rd 10-8 instead of 10-9 cost him the win. Would have been 48-47 riggs otherwise as he took 3 rds to 2 on all the score cards.
That "short left hand" at 10m50s was a left elbow/forearm. Riggs is still a dirty boxer.
He got hit after the bell twice. But yes hes always been a little dirty :p

It wasn't overwhelming but I definitely think Joe pulled it out in the last round to win that fight.
Had he not gone down in rd 2 he would have won. Point deduction cost him as the fight was 3 rds to 2 for riggs, but the loss of point from the knock down in the rd lowered what would have been 48 points to 47 for the draw. This isn't MMA scoring. Getting knocked down costs you a point like it does in boxing. So BArros took rd 2 10-8, not 10-9.
I definitely seen it for Riggs...but Brad is correct with the knock down in the 2nd. A draw or Riggs getting the W..both are correct & fair, imho👊👍

Honestly, nobody likes to see a draw, but the first thought i had right at the end of that fight was, "amazing fight, I do not envy the judges being put in such a close decision."

Riggs has good footwork but he makes things dangerous jumping in at times. He's a big guy with fast hands and feet, he could make things much easier using his jab!

Riggs got robbed! Great fight! Our judges here in Fl SUCK! UFC fight this past Wednesday and Saturday showed this again!
How did he get robbed? Riggs took 3 rds to 2, but lost the second rd by a 10-8 because he got knocked down. Had he not been knocked down and just lost a normal rd he would have won 48-47. But losing that point made it 47-47.
Riggs won 48-47, but all judges took a point off him for the knock-down.
They were switching to the wrong camera angles. Can't see anything behind the fighters.

I'm guessing Riggs banged the referee's girl. I mean he was pissed off for a punch that was thrown before he said stop and gave Riggs a hard warning, but twice the other guy did the same and the ref didn't say a word. One of those times was 2 shots after the bell and the ref didn't care.

David Whitfield this clinch isn’t being broken up quick enough! 90% of boxers use the clinch when they are winded.. this sport isn’t as much about stamina as it is just finishing the job quickly with a knockout...

that two piece combo at the end of round two was definitely illegal. he wasn’t even in motion to throw them when the bell sounded. if you like bare knuckle boxing y’all should check out the British Promoting The BKB and Russia has one that’s gaining momentum and has some solid fights called Top Dog Fighting Championship. There’s a lot of gum flapping from the brits particularly about Knight vs Lobov fights. They have it in their head that the fighters in the BKB are better. Even though if the first Lobov vs Knight fight they would have stopped it in round one if it was a BKB promotion fight.

Riggs should've definitely won. But the knockdown made it a draw. Riggs won the 1st, 4th, and 5th. The knockdown is a 10-8 and the 3rd was 10-9... Equaling 47-47. DRAW
