  • Cormani was told by Prime last year to do 3 things; show up for film time, show up on time for meetings and show up on time for practice. He was 0-3 and that's why Prime didn't start him. Plus there are stories of him showing up smelling of dope. Plus he was surly to sevral profs in his classes, a huge no no for Prime. When I was in college we called players like him a legend in their own mind

  • Is it really the players fault for not sticking it out when 95% of them will never earn more than college? Coaches are not held to the level of scrutiny for being nomads chasing a bag rather than sticking it out with the university that made them the one of the highest paid employees in their state. It’s almost like you’re upset because the players finally have agency to define their careers on their terms rather than the university. College players have always had the most limited shelf life and fans aren’t invested in the players as much as they are the institutions. Most fans don’t know 95% of the roster of their favorite college team until the first Saturday of the season and aren’t tuned in because they just care about winning with whoever they throw out there. No one stops watching when their favorite player jumped ship or a coach is no longer there.

  • Great video. I'm all for the athlete, but what concerns me about the NIL and transfer portal is that it is beginning to look a lot like free agency in the NFL before the salary cap got control of it. The colleges or the collectives are trying to buy championships. The only problem with that is that the schools with less money backing them will always get the inferior athletes. If a plan is put in place to regulate the NIL then who does it and will THEY get out of control. Right now it's a sticky situation. God bless and go buffs cause we still here.

  • Coach Prime needs to be held accountable, especially for the Cormani situation. Let’s remember that this is about an introverted 19-year-old who seems to lack a male father figure to guide him. He left his comfort zone, traveling hundreds of miles because he believed he found that guidance in Coach Prime. Despite his physical attributes, it’s clear that the kid lacks the personal confidence usually fostered by a father figure. Being a head coach, Prime likely doesn't have the time or patience to provide that personal mentorship. Instead, there’s constant public criticism, and I'm 100 percent sure Cormani doesn't know how to handle constructive criticism. Not everyone is as prepared and polished as Travis Hunter.

It cuts both ways. So I also don’t think the public shaming was good for this kid in particular. I can see a world in which Deion promised to treat him as his own but with that comes the responsibility of the player/child to follow the directives laid out by the parent/coach. So I can see Deion cutting the rope when CM refused to play by the rules. Yet, you can give up on a player in ways you wouldn’t give up on your child. So his mother should have done a better job of making a choice.

    • They are talking about a kid ruining himself not anything else. A guy goes to 5 high schools then 4 colleges in the span of 7 years? Do you understand how crazy that is? How can you ever develop if you're never at a place longer than a year? The facts are the parents are nor teaching these kids right.

    • Nobody's mad people just don't wanna see kids throw away real money for 10 or 20k they end up without a degree and not going pro

    • @@ghostwalker89 It'll work itself and in about 5 years we'll have our results. The big spender boosters will either have an ROI or they will not. The players who chased the bag will either be successful or they won't. Once kids and parents see that the 4 schools in 4 years model doesn't work, they'll act differently. Maybe...😅
