What was your favorite release from the show? Thanks for watching and support as always!
Tudor GMT Cola
Ulysse Nardin Freak S
JLC and Zenith were the highlights.
My favorite was the IWC eternal calendar. Thank you.
The Rolex 1908 is stunning.
Teddy has a very unique hability to critique in a respectful way and not being unnecessarily controversial. That’s a very difficult thing to do.
Why is being as less abrasive as possible considered a “good” and difficult thing?
@@user-db4fw7kj9w that’s not easy to do.
Thats the reason why I have ended my subscription....
I don't mind softer criticism, but I don't like the absence of it.
He seems to hold off on giving honest opinion in an effort to come across as “professional” and “clean”. He reviews watches as though they are computers monitors.
The gold Deep Sea wins for generating the best comedy, the JLC 63 complications wins for dropping the most jaws, the IWC Eternal Calendar wins for making us want to check back in 400 years.

Underrated as heck
@@lexusenthusiast6414 Such a cool piece, a future classic.
@@flyingphysics9664 I was talking about your comment hahahaha, that was underrated to me
@@lexusenthusiast6414 Thanks! :)

This was the best recap I’ve seen yet. As always, really well thought out Teddy! 👊
Many mentions I haven’t seen elsewhere, thanks!
Thanks for this great overview Teddy. I'm quite new to watch collecting and your videos have really helped me learn about the artistic and engineering side of watches. I hope to one day experience Watches and Wonders in person. It must be a feast for the eyes! I was planning to get the TAG Reverse Panda Carrera for my bday this year but now I'm chomping at the bit to pick up the Silver Panda. I think its so much more versatile and I have several black dial watches already. I'd love a video reviewing the entire glass box collection from your perspective. Thanks again!
Good video. Thanks for sharing.
Zenith Defy Extreme. Integrated titanium diver with great design and colour all day
Iwc portuguese releases were my favourite
Absolutamente
so underated these days. ppl r all so tudor fan bois, just like apple fanbois, these days 😂
JLC delivered once again. Another Highlight was Parmigiani with the new Toric Collection. And of course the Tonda PF Skeleton and the Tonda PF Micro Rotor No Date.
I think King Charles got a lot of press attention for his Toric, which warranted the brand to bring back a dress line, and they did it with panache and totally doubling down on those beautiful pastel tones. One of the best moves at W&W this year.
Excellent recap and conversation! Thanks for getting a few ones not covered by others.
Already added TAG Heuer Carrera panda and Tudor Black Bay 58 GMT to my potential purchase list! These two literally hit my two biggest desires in the past few years for the two brands: a wearable Carrera chronograph in panda dial (I already have the blue dial) and a more compact and wearable Tudor GMT in BB58/54 construct (being an existing BB GMT owner for more than two years I understand both the sweetness and bitterness of wearing that watch 😂)
Really like the look of the BB. Might be my first Tudor. Like the size, but i was disappointed with the burgundy last year. Glassbox! Amazing. I own the reverse panda glassbox.
@@LouisMorales-zx3jm I am sure the reverse panda looks excellent on your wrist! I only regret having bought a reverse panda from another brand right before its release and I just don't have enough money to double down on the color profile😂
I was waiting for this thank you so much. You were the first person I started listening to to learn about watches. You have a way of making it so easy
Tudor Black Bay Pro 12.8 thickness please - would buy in a heartbeat.
Sold it for the Longines Zulu because of its thickness. I wonder if the BB58 GMT was launched to compete against the Zulu? Would you consider the HODINKEE Zulu?
congratulations for 1m subscribers!
Wonderful video Teddy.
I bought that Tag Heuer carrera
Another very informative video!
Been loving B&M recently. Really tempted to pick one up.
That Zenith Defy Extreme Diver is fire. Amazing release.
I got to try them on in Watches and Wonders. They really wore great - titanium makes it an easy wear and the quick change strap is really fun feature.
Yes, looks very interesting. Zenith is on 🔥.
I can’t help but wonder how Tudor will use that new GMT movement of theirs. I’m also keeping my fingers crossed the 5 link bracelet makes its way into their GMTs
That Grand Seiko manual wind is lovely, elegant simplicity with a touch of extravagance on the textured dial.
Thanks for covering all these watches! I feel like every other watch KZheadr just lazily phones it in and shows like 3 brands, so thanks for not doing that!
Thanks Teddy ! You are the best. Favorite of the show was Tudor GMT and BB41
Not my favorite, but pleasantly surprised to see Raymond Weil. Years before my watch journey got serious, my wife bought me a Raymond Weil, which I still think looks beautiful and I still wear quite a bit. Great video, Teddy. Thanks for the awesome coverage.
Yes agree , I own a couple of Raymond Weil and still like them. But I think the new release moonphase is a complete miss , why ruin what is a classy sophisticated design and add a smiley cartoon moon! 😂
Ditto with me. The new models are generating excitement to get collector’s attention.
Wonderful, Teddy. Thanks so much for your reactions and insights.
Great video teddy, I have watched multiple reviews of this event and I have not heard anything about Longines? Were they there?
swatch group is not part of watches and wonders
Hi Teddy, Thanks for another great video! I am puzzled for nearly a week by the “bird” responsible for the clicking sound in the new Grand Seiko movement (love the watch by the way). The GS representative called it a wagtail, but I see and hear a woodpecker. I am pretty sure I am not alone in seeing a woodpecker here. Let me know if you(dis)agree. Thanks! Wim
An Invicta homage 😂😂👌
It's kinda hilarious, but I'm watching this while wearing my Invicta, so hey, it's all good!
Yes, that comment caught me in the ribs a bit 😆
Teddy!! I don’t think I’ve ever commented on a KZhead video in my life, I’m not sure what “the people” want but I’d be so pumped to see your personal collection at the moment! You are the man thanks for all the amazing content!
The new Black Bay 58 GMT absolutely needs to be on the 5 link (jubilee) bracelet. Why Tudor doesn’t realize this I can’t fathom. That would make that watch perfect. At least make it an option like the 41mm burgundy model has.
I prefer the oyster bracelet for sure.
Finally someone with the same thoughts. Why they added it to the Monochrome model (a dive watch) but make it absent on a GMT is bizarre.
They know it 😂. This is no accident.
Love your videos Teddy. Would you be willing to showcase watches on larger wrists also. I know you have used a model with a 7.6-inch wrist before. It does help with our decision-making process. Thank you.
Nice video man hello from Croatia ❤❤
You took your time, but you prove again who is the number one watch content on the internet. Thanks Teddy&co.
Bravo, Teddy! My favorite W&W recap of all that I’ve watched. I like the Zenith and Grand Seiko pieces. Thank you.
Congratulations Teddy on hitting 1 million subs! I always enjoy your insight on the watch industry.
That Raymond Weil Moonphase with the white dial is so amazing 😻
I agree that predictions for w&w are stupid. But they are more fun and exciting than the actual show lol. And its less about predicting and more about sharing your opinion on what you would like to see.
Really enjoyed seeing the new RW Millesime design... when it was first released by Omega a couple of years ago, in the CK-859 model 🤔. All that's missing are a few numeral indicators at 3, 9, and 12...
Some of those nomos tengente color combinations are really cool. I like the variety
I'm glad you mentioned the baume et mericier, I love my riveria. Great watch
The Silver Panda Glassbox is a great release. Great movement specs, under 14mm thick, 39mm. It should sell really well, because it’s been what Heuer fans have been asking for. I love the design. Unfortunately, I’m 6’4 and medium build, so it’s a little too small for me. However, this watch should be a purist, or watch enthusiasts, dream chronograph.
To me very interesting fight at the top: how bulgari comes up with thinnest watch in the world with COSC, and Piaget fights back with thinnest tourbillon!!!!
I loved the green and gold overseas. Great colouration of the dial in combination with the rose gold.
Thank you Teddy for me Tudor Black Bay 58 GMT with Metas Certification . Great Watch value for money.
Such a great recap, I was waiting for this video so much! Couldn't bear with any more Rolex-only related content :)
Teddy, to show all 31 colors of the Nomos Tangente, on wrist, was so awesome! I was counting along as they flashed on the screen. 2:00
Once again teddy sir nicely done your intake on watch wonder this year. Ok so the carrera tag silver is good taste i would get one . Now for the last 3 years hermes been secretly been making a statement in tasteful high-end watches im not a fan of fashion designer watches but I'm telling hermes is really making noise if any other the 3 holy trinity of watches made this design we all would get it the only thing that holds be back from getting one of these is me being shallow 😅. I'm not a fan of zenith but they did a good job with this dive watch the color scheme and the design is top notch. LJC never disappoints me love the duo good job. To me rolex did not disappoint me its hard being one of the holy trinity its like LeBron missing a shot but he had a 40 point game . Cartier did a great job this year too
Grand Seiko, hi-beat manual winding, super!
Zenith was the sleeper of the show for me. I'm not big into integrated sports watches, however I do think they do a nice job with the Defy Skyline series. For what they are, the new chronograph is very well done. I'm not into white dials typically, the white dial chrono is quite fine. Quite a saturated market, but nicely executed. I love their Revival pieces across the board. I own an A385 Revival, it's a stunner. The Defy Revivals, once you know how to look at them, they are very cool, avant garde, elegant sports watches. This Revival diver is probably easier to digest for most people than a typical Defy Revival. Very cool. Zenith stole their own thunder by releasing the El Primero Triple Calendars well ahead of W&W. Had they waited, their would have been a lot more talk about how strong their releases were. That said- Zenith needs to show the Elite line some love next.
After watching this video highlighting the trends from so many brands and so many design concepts and so many price points, At Watches & Wonders, I am confused. Why? 1. The brands are targeting the upper 1%, and at the time, middle class buyers too. How many times did Teddy say, “I am not sure who is the target audience to buy this watch? 2. I enjoyed seeing each brand try to differentiate itself from all of the brands. Some used color, thickness, or haute horology to achieve this. 3. As much as brands are different, many use similar design concepts. Is it possible that there are too many brands chasing the same buyers at all different income levels? Will we see a shakeout similar to what happened in the car industry? Having said all of this, the JLC Duometre caught my attention!
Are the Nomos Tangete editions already sold out? Or when will they be released?
It is also telling that in the Tudor boutique in Geneva this week (right after W&W) they already had all the new releases but the gold 58 on the bracelet... On that note, much better to experience them in the store than in the fair (my opinion)
LMAOOO oh that's a good one 23:24 😂
Wow, Happy belated 1 million!!
Bremont had a great thing going. Hopefully they can correct the ship before it's too late. The Glass box Tag Heuer's look incredible.
I'm all about the SLGW series, definitely buying one but not the first, most likely one of their inevitable dial recolor down the road 👍🏽
I would enjoy your thoughts on Bremont. They offer several styles I like. I just wonder about the price/value/quality as they are pretty pricey to me.
Thanks Teddy for covering many brands and models that are being ignored or overlooked by every other watch industry personalities.
Thanks teddy
The Black Bay 58 GMT Coke bezel really struck a chord for me. From the look to the size to the spec, it has me seriously considering my first Tudor!
22:52 when i saw that Rolex i thought of that OceanGate incident, if coordinating time couldve saved them this would have came in handy.
Hi Teddy how are you, I would like to ask could you maybe do a review of fifty fathoms 42mm? There is no content about that watch unfortunately
I'm anticipating seeing more crown guards from Tudor soon enough.
took me about 3 weeks but that Blue + yellow gold rolex is actually fire.
Well done Teddy!
The gold Tuder BB58, I believe, is exclusively made for their brand ambassadors. These individuals have to wear a lot of Tudor watches, and I am sure a few wanted the option for an all gold watch, so, this was born.
My first W&W and I thought was great. Also got to the Beau Rivage Hotel, which had a parallel show of more than 50 smaller brands, including Sinn and Laco. Saw quite a few youtube watch people there too 😊
Great video as usual. I thought the Parmigiani Fleurier Toris Petite Seconde models were stunning and I hope you got to see those. That brand excites me a great deal and has been on a roll.
Excellent video.
Carrera range is 🔥🏎
Also, where is Bulova? My first and only watch is the Bulova Black Dial Regatta Open Aperture. I'm new to the watch world. But I think Bulova makes some really cool watches.
Freddy, was Breitling there?. If so, how come no interview
The Tudor coming out with a coke ..I mean sometimes they do things to differentiate with Rolex to stand apart from them but in the end the go back to Rolex . I don't know I feel like they don't need to do that they were already separating themselves from Rolex (being their own thing ) but then the coke design. Ahhh. I think they could have made their own bezel color combination and call it something else. To be totally new and different. That baume and Mercier moon phase very nice
TH with Glassbox makes them a very interesting brand. Carrera’s nice!. BB would like to see. it could possibly be my first, although i have been disappointed before. . GS always interesting. Rolex…can’t get it anyways
Nice watches would nice to see movement inside of them ok there i see watchmaking must say Bravissimo ☆☆☆☆☆
What about Moser Teddy?? Their flex releases were INSANE!
Teddy, will you ever do a video on swedish brands? There are some interesting stuff in Sjöö & Sandström, Epoch, Tusenö and Bravur etc....
I liked the Tag Heuer Carrera Dato with the green dial.
I'm a little concerned by the Seiko new high beat movement slide mechanism. It just seems like a sliding part is subject to wear and failure in ways a hinged part isn't. I'd wait until field experience rules out or verifies this as a weak point.
Missing the Freak mate, some crazy watch that is!
Didn't have a chance to stop over there this year. So much to see... Good seeing you at the event man!
That blue 1908 is stunning! Maybe someday
Best summary so far...far too many only reporting on the Rolex + Tudor releases.
Some brilliant pieces there
Say what you want about the BB Monochrome, I love mine. It’s not bulky, it’s spot on, machined perfectly(looked under a microscope), and perfectly balanced with bright lume.
What did he say was wrong with the Monochrome?
BB41 monochrome with top line of text in red - 👌
Can`t tell, i might have to wait longer. But Rado has several very interesting and all day usable pieces, this brand is also very big in Asia.
When it comes to flexing hourology ...JLC, lange, and patek Philip always finish on top
I love Tag and IWC. Will never be able to buy the second, but the first…. That Carrera silver panda! OMG!
I always wondered why Cartier didn't just use those Breguet hour-and-minute hands on the standard Santos-Dumont models considering that that those were used on the original Santos from 1904
Gotta love those colorful Nomos... ❤
I think Nomos is a bit underappreciated brand, I'd love to see them get more success OMG the Carrera silver panda... Probably best looking ever.. Also Hermes suprises with that, really got style and class, perfect for her
The JLC duomette ugh beautiful. But so expensive. Worth it's price but I can not afford lol please make a cheaper model haha lol. The movement finishing on that watch is beautiful
BB41 monochrome gives me a 16800 Submariner vibe. 5 link makes the package complete.
VIBES?it's basically a spitting image
For me it has to be Tudor. They really do show up for their fans. The price point makes them attainable.
Can we please have a full video on the VC grand complication? It’s unbelievable. I wonder what it costs …😱
The IWC Portugieser Eternal Calendar requires no date adjustment until 3999. Now if only it would need no general service until 3999. ;D
Nomos, if I were an AD, I’d be having a fit. How do they attempt to stock, or even try for 31 colors? And limited to 175 pieces?
ADs stock different things, just like how they pick the colors and styles from omega, grand seiko, iwc, etc they will do for Nomos
If you want one of the colors they don’t have, they order it for you.
Those Zenith Defy watches remind me of the Captain America shield.
I want a constant force TOTO bottom washer. They're fitting these things everywhere in EU but they don't work that well.
