@dandobi I got 'em (Wayfarer's), and I feel great! I'm still learning Ray Bans navigational ropes, and the feel of these Ray Bans on my face is as light as a breath of fresh air!
Photography quality will be rubbish compared to real camera with proper photo lenses.

Solid, smooth review! Zukman, love it! I own the transitions and was pissed when I drove in them with no sunglass effect. I found some clip on shades (Amazon-Caxman Polarized clip on, XL) fixed that issue, don’t look like crap, and will still work with pics and videos! Totally happy with them now, except for the few cons you mentioned! Subscribed!

Glasses don't have the ability to replace my phone since 1/2 my time being entertained is content on places like KZhead!
I’m buying these soon and was eager to hear your thoughts on syncing images and photos. Sounds like it’s super smooth!! Any idea why the App Store reviews for the Meta View has tons of recent reviews saying it simply “doesn’t work”? Has there been a bad update recently? Maybe setup is just a bit confusing? 👌 nice review - concise well edited. Any thoughts on what you 'loose' to meta via selling your sole to 'the great overlord in the sky'? If your using meta search engine, then are they constantly (or intermittently) reviewing your activity???
On Android, I don't have any issues placing calls or sending messages. In fact, you say to call someone by their first name and it knows your most commonly used contact. I wonder if iOS makes it difficult. When taking your glasses off, fold the arms and that should kill the Bluetooth connection. Another, cool trick if you didn't already know is to say "hey Meta, take a picture and send it to (contact

Thanks for a fun punchy review. I ordered mine to do maybe a dozen or so clips of the jobs I do and then just stitch them together into one file maybe trimming a few of them and then post to KZhead. No other editing. Can you suggest something that might be good for that on Android or Mac?
Hey! Thanks dude! I really only edit on Adobe Premiere on my mac. If you're only editing on your phone, I'm pretty sure you could take the clips into IG, make a reel then export it out without posting... You could do that or use CapCut (I hear good things!). let me know if you have any other questions!

The audio switching from phone to glasses I think is not a glass issue. It happens on my iPhone as well when I’m playing Spotify on Google home, then I put on my AirPods. The music automatically transfers to the AirPods.
There is an option in settings to select when off your head they will come off.
Yeah you can tell the difference between the quality at 1:35 for sure. The glasses still look great though!
Yup! difference between the 4k 10-bit ProRes apple log and 1080p out of the Ray-Bans :)

Ha! Thanks so much! What a compliment! Yeah! I think they could work for that, just keep in mind you’ll have to break your clips up into one minute segments (unless your going live with it)

Come for the camera, stay for the speakers. They are alright. Perfect for biking. Great charging case.... douno how long theyll last though about that last con.... its not gonna get fixed; it's very basic Bluetooth- they always do that and raybans activate when the right temple is folded on. Either you can kil the connection prior or just live woth it and go in your phone and set the music back to the first stereo

Where are the photos / videos being saved to phone album or app ? How does the live work
hey there! so there's an app and you can view ALL the media via that but you can click an option where content gets auto-saved to your camera roll. You just have to adjust a setting to AUTO IMPORT and it's like magic, you shoot and content gets on your phone. easy!
The only drawback to wearing glasses and Ray Bans being no exception is having the need to have the frames sent out for prescription. And in my case - 2 weeks!
ok so my hands don't function properly and I was super excited when i found out about the voice assistance but now im not so sure. if your hands didn't work, would you still get the glasses?
Hey there! I would say yes (but would love more context to answer this with confidence). I will say this, there has been times when I'm doing yardwork and my hands are dirty so to pick up a call or skip a track, I've used the side of my wrist to use the touchpad... but thinking about it, I use the voice assistant often so if i HAD to use it hands-free, yes I would still get it. Hope this helps! : )

Yeah, I got these, loved them, but had the transition lenses and after about 2 hours of wearing them I would start to feel sick ( I'm a teacher and can wear glasses inside, even tented ones). So I sent back the transition pair and was thinking about getting the dusty red lenses, do the “sun glasses” hold up Indoors ok? As in could you wear them inside and still see? I saw someone who apparently does popular reviews and said his big mistake was getting the sunglasses because it was to dark Inside. But again those transition lenses made me sick, so I was wondering how they held up inside, if I connected them to my tv if it was dark out in a pair of sunglasses? In your opinion. And again I'm a teacher I could wear them while I'm teaching webjsve HUGE lights in here, but just wondering your opinion.
Hey there! Ah man, I would have to see your situation to make a proper call here however I would say sunglasses indoors might not be the move. I would stick with the transitions, however you said you were getting sick? Maybe give it another go and see how the transitions work, that would be my opinion! 🤠
@@dandobi thanks, man, I had them for about a month and they just made me feel sicker and sicker I’ll after awhile, (only when they were in clear mode, so I figured I'd try and go with the lightest color lenses they had that weren't transition, either amber or dusty red. I'm not sure how to show you my my current situation I basically mean just using them in doors I know exactly how they work, I used the transitions for over a month, they transition to sunglasses barely worked so I asked for a replacement pair and it wasn't any different. I just had a bad experience with them.

Good question. I don’t think it’s possible as WHEN you stream, you’re streaming compressed video. That’s my take.

hey there! you mean "listenting" to movies? these don't have screens in them, they operate just like regular sunglasses however, they have speakers in them... so if you're watching something on your phone, you can listen to the audio via the glasses, but you cannot physically watch something in the frames, it's just ... glasses : )
Can we put prescription glasses in them after buying, or it will break it ?

I haven't had any problems making calls its been flawless and sending messages and no i don't have whats app or messenger.
The vertical only killed it for me. I’m sure they had reasons but just not the form I need them for.

WOULD THIS BE A GOOD ALTERNATIVE TO A DASH CAM ? I DONT WEAR GLASSES OFTEN AND WOULD ONLY BE USING THESE WHILE DRIVING. MY DAILY COMMUTE FOR WORK IS ABOUT 1.5 - 2 HOURS ON THE HIGH WAY. I HAVE BEEN CLOSE TO BEING HIT AND HAVE SEEN SOME HORRIBLE ACCIDENTS. SO MY QUESTION IS HOW LONG CAN THESE VIDEO RECORD FOR?
hey dude! it can record up to a minute at a time unless you're streaming. TBH, I don't think this is a great substitute for a dashcam.

You just need to fold them closed. To keep it from playing on your glasses when they are off your face.

You mean like shooting? I think it’s great for POV content. If ya mean for safety, the glasses don’t “show” you anything, everything is done via audio so using while driving is totally safe! No different than regular glasses! 😎
Eh. Dont expect transitions to work well- switch to regular polarized for that. Just get a dash cam

I was using the standard size ones. I tried them both on and the size difference is negligible. I wouldn’t overthink it, standard is fine 😎

these features are blocked outside of the US? is that confirmed? I know the AI is still in closed beta, but I'm SURE once it's public, you'll be able to use it everywhere, as long as you're tethered to your phone.

Heyooo! DAMN! What e-bike do you have that goes 36mph and can i have one?! I have a motorcycle and WHEN using them, the audio is fine however I'm wearing a helmet and am pretty "tucked in" however if you're free-balling it (not wearing a helmet) I would bet you you'll have to be at full blast to get some good levels in your ears. But also, if you're going 35mph, wear a helmet! 👷🏼♂️

I heard they don't shoot straight on, and you have to look slightly to the right of your subject. That seems like a fairly major issue.

Mate, the sound is very poor when you are in the gym, public transport, on a plane - anywhere where there is a little bit of noise. Its a pity you cannot have a clip on the arm to allow the speakers to bounce the noise into your ears. Mic is excellent though, and seems to block out all the noise other than you talking. Battery life is terrible (1 hour with music at max level, 4 hours if unused at all) and no doubt they have withheld the best version and are going to upgrade it progressively with each new issue over next few years. I would wait to buy therefore, or until Samsung, Apple or whoever enters the market

Heyyyy! Thanks! Jeez, shooting at 1.0 would mean either my nose or my eyes would be in focus! I usually am at a 2.8 for the talking head stuff. I do throw on light blur-vignette around the corners to keep the attention off the background. If I was going to use Gen AI I’d probably make my house look cooler than it is 🤠.
