Thanks for your video and actually mentioning the battery in these glasses, I actually received mine last week and I am a daily glasses wearer and I love them but I wish the battery was better. But all in all these glasses are AWESOME!!!!!!! Love them.

Con is the price? Have you bought glasses recently? There’s dozens of regular prescription and sunglass frames that are more expensive than these.
Some regular glasses are less than $100. Not saying they’re not worth it but it is expensive

As a daily prescription glasses user, I very much wanted a daily user’s perspective of the glasses also. How was the transition lenses btw? Don’t expect to get the features because you won’t get them. You cannot ask the glasses what is in front of you she will not respond. She is going to say she doesn’t have that feature right now

Finally someone talks about the actual price with prescriptions. Thank you for highlighting that; I was shocked when I went to the Ray Ban store and they quoted me at €712 for transition + prescription lenses. Luckily my insurance called me yesterday to cover €420 so they'll come in at €292 which has convinced me to give them a shot. That said, I'm legit disappointed in four major issues I would have hoped they'd fix from the Stories to this upgraded model: 1) The low-lighting like you mentioned stinks. 2) There really ought to be a landscape option because cropping these will just suck. 3) If I have understood correctly, the transition lenses won't transition quickly with most modern cars that block UV light, and are generally not advised to use while driving at night which kind of defeats the purpose of any transitional qualities for prescription lenses. 4) The impressive modal AI functions are limited to the US market and are blocked for European users. (Though some forums are claiming it can be bypassed using a VPN).
Yea agreed on all points. Def room for improvement. Overall impressive and hope upgrades to software fix some issues
There will never be an "AR experience" software update with these glasses because they have no display technology. AR is overlaying virtual objects into the real world. Since RB Metas can not display anything to your eye, AR would only be possible with a hardware update. In other words, a new pair of glasses (version 2).

Hi, just wanted to ask, for the prescription lens, can I have both transition and blue violet light?
YEP! That's what I did! Now, I did my order at a Rayban store, so not sure about other avenues but yes, I got transitions + UV + prescription. Close to $600 out the door for me.

I wish it had huperlapse option and remote shutter from the app. I used it in Thailand and in noisy situation it doesn’t hear the commands
That would be really cool and yea the voice command could use some improvements
I ride an electric unicycle at 40+ mph and the commands work perfectly with All the wind noise .. one of the things I was super surprised about .. maybe you need to exchange yours

They're certainly worth bugger all in the UK at the moment. Each software update has made them worse and worse. The AI doesn't work at all and all you get to almost every question is 'I can't do that on your phone'. I'd sell them if I could but no one wants them on ebay. I'll wait for the Llama 3 AI roll out which for some inexplicable reason appears to be going very very slowly.
Yeah, the AI definitely needs work. However the other features are pretty good (but hopefully, things will improve)
How dark are the transitions? I ordered the green transition for playing golf
Pretty dark on the outside, can barely tell when you’re wearing them. Just like real RAYBANS

I picked mine up at the RAYBAN store, don't know the "number" they are but the sales rep walked me through it

Ordered the headliners.I feel like the price is extremely reasonable, using them daily all day, seems to be excessive. Wearing them inside buildings is just pushing the lines of creepy. Just my opinion . Outside out and about , driving. That to me is perfect use, and the battery life should be fine.
Yea, they’re worth it. It’s pricey if you do the additions like I did but worth it 🙌🏽
What about SOUND?
Plan to do a more in depth video on extra features but it’s pretty good. Bass is strong and it feels like you’re wearing a headset on top of your head. Since it’s not IN YOUR EYE of course, it’s not my first pick but gets the job done. For phone calls… surprisingly crisp and the recipient apparently can’t even tell!

True, as mentioned in the title. It's just a quick breakdown since I only had em for a couple days. I think a "FULL REVIEW" is important but only have I can use them for a long period of time. And it just so happens - I'm working on that video this WEEK! I've had them for over 60 days. Stay tuned 🤗
