sourpatches I have a video comparing the two coming tomorrow but off the top of my head the k95 has macro keys and a much better wrist rest with a few other minor differences.

I like the plastic wrist rest though because it still feels semi soft surprisingly. I get a feeling that real soft padding will eventually wear out
I love all of the effort actually put into this. You went above and beyond what other people would think "reviews" are. You really brought the sense of feeling of how reviews should be. You noticed everything and talked about everything about the computer, even it's software and how it works. Outstanding job, and it really showed people how good it is and it's downsides. Thank you, and I will definitely get this keyboard because of this.

i like there are many colors to choose. I think its kinda useless to have must colour each key what you want and I had a blackwidow before. think k70 in better maybe but i got this with 100 euros so half of price almost. I like more of this media keys than fn key through cracking with razers expecially love that volume knob its so easy to adjust volume and skip songs
Bought this keyboard today, i just wanted something that had some light, the MX red is nice and make less noise than my old Q-pad with MX red. Feels sold, the buttons is a bit smaller than my Q-pad so it will take a day or two to get used to that.

I'm buying this I got the small one I think it was called the pro and it was amazing with MX Reds. Now I have the Logitec G513 with the linear romer switches and I dont like them...

This is pretty much personal preference. I love the blue switches, but other people prefer red or brown. I would recommend testing them in a shop or buy one of those switch testers

Is there a way to get rid of the spacebar rattle? Almost every new keyboard I see has the rattle besides a select few. The rattle is what is holding me back from buying this keyboard

I have the keyboard and it's so good. The rgb is great, the light bar is really nice, the ded media keys are nice and the build itself feels incredible. absolute 0 flex, the keys feel different on this vs on the strafe, which is plastic. absolutely recommend it

great review brainbean :D but for me the feature of different illumination doesn't bother me after all we are buying a keyboard not Christmas lights hahahaha just my opinion plus you can customize it to your movement so not really something to be bummed about

Depends what you need and it wasn't Kingston owns hyperx they have awesome customer service take that for what it is. I went through to k95 for a scroll wheel and drop issue, I'll explain the scroll wheel had a horrible grinding noise and the keyboard would kinda freeze lights etc would work but the keys wouldn't register. I thought maybe that was a one off but it happen twice to me on the MX brown model i switched to a filco board no looking back
Considering that the K95 platinum is now $149.99 I think this keyboard is overpriced by about $30-$40. The K70 Lux continues to be overpriced but I guess this is trying to compete with it. I love that it actually comes with a wrist rest and usb pass-through but it does need macro keys. All things considered, when this thing goes on sale or hits a good price point I might pick it up. Sooo many good keyboards recently my wallet cant take it. Thanks for indulging my/our habit/passion @Brainbean. I also loved the 80's intro... more of that sir ;)
I'm stuck between this and the Corsair K70 Lux keyboard. I prefer the font on Hyperx and the light bar looks really nice, but I don't know about the wrist rest.. Is it a deal breaker or not? What about the software?

Brainbean Problem is that Corsair keyboards have a different bottom layout for keys and I would need a set with the 'Nordic' layout cause I use ä and ö letters. I don't know if there are that many options for me.
Brainbean I did some research and I found out that WASD keyboards sell custom keycap sets which are also available with ISO layout. However I'm not sure if they are compatible with Corsair keyboards' bottom row and if they support backlighting. Do you have any knowledge about these sets?

I wouldn't say they look exactly the same at all... backplate is definitely different (specially if you got the brushed silver model K95), macro keys on the K95 vs none, Fonts are drastically different font (thank goodness... I hate the K95 platinums font), etc What did I miss... take it away Brainbean... in your comparison. If anything its more like the K70 lux... VERY similar to that keyboard but you also have to remember Corsair still has their patented cherry mx switches (speed, silent, etc) which Kingston/Hyper X does not.

Aww, stock Cherry stabilizers. I wish they would of went with clipped Cherry stabilizers instead. At $170, I also wish it came with PBT keycaps or at least double shot ABS, good thing this one has a standard size bottom row to replace the stock caps. Still, looks like like an alright keyboard, although it doesn't really stand out from what's already on the market in the "gaming keyboard" selection.
