It's intellectually dishonest to say that people not voting are likely to be NDA voters. In an election where there is not much anti-incumbency, low turnout typically suggests that opposition voters who are not turning out in almost as much equal numbers as the ruling party.
No one says there is a wave. These opposition themselves say its wave and then try to debunk it 😂. BJP is set a bigger target and trying to achieve it wether that is acheivable is questionable but thats their strategy.

My explanation is, much drop in NDA held seats is due to non NDA Supporters are not coming vote thinking that anyway NDA candidate will win why should we vote, second scenario less drop in INDI block held seats more NDA supporters are coming to vote but relatively high number of non INDI block voters are not coming to vote due to anti incumbency
