Rewatch the first one right at 1:52, Pittsburgh player stood on goalies stick before scoring. I think that's why they called it back.
Nah, they're both good. It looked like Bunting stepped on Saros' stick, which is a pretty obvious call. And then Eller was in the blue paint right in front of the goalie. If you're in the crease, you don't need to be touching the goalie to get called. You just need to be impeding his vision. Legally you can only do that outside the crease. Both pretty textbook calls, honestly. And I'm a Pens fan.

@@trevorjmaendel absolutely, the officials need to lay off abit because the goalie interference call in my opinion is far too soft now. Honestly if it stops the goalie moving by all means wave it off but the slightest graze if waved off now. It worked out ok for the Pens but imagine if that was the decisons that caused them a crack at the playoffs. Though i’m sure the Preds fan would’ve loved it after what happened in 2017

I was there. Those two goals were 100% good goals, the refs just still haven't forgiven the pens for 2017. I bet you if there was one more call like that, the place would have a riot. The fans,, absolutely despised these clowns. The recap doesn't do a good job of showing this, but the preds got away with a loooot of penalties, from cross checking, hooking, tripping, and interference, they were able to slide. And I swear they targeted poor Bunting the entire game. He was this close to throwing down with #10 of the preds. Have a gn fam! May the pens win on Wednesday!!!! 🐧 🐧
I can understand the Bunting goal being called back. As great a play as it was, he stepped on the stick. Calling the second back? Nah. That was a weak call.
