  • I liked all three of these but I can't help but think in trailers for 2 people a fixed dinette is a waste of space. For only two people you could have a couple of folding chairs and a small folding table sufficient for meals or laptops or playing cards. They don't have to be attached when in use because the trailer won't be moving at that time anyway, you could even use them outside in nice weather. When not in use they could just fold up and click in place to one of the walls. That would leave more space for storage and/or moving around inside the trailer.

The bed is a full 60x80 queen bed with a north/south orientation, making it easy for either of us to get up without disturbing the other. It has plenty of counter space. The microwave is up high, where you can keep an eye on food as it's cooking. It has a three burner stove with oven. And the commode easily passes the elbow test. I'm 6' 2" and I have no problems standing up in the shower.

Electric front jack, 15k ac, couch too. Came with exterior clip on bbq, bike rack for ladder. These new little other brand trailers today look so basic, minimal. (…Dam, sold it for a big trailer) 🍻

  • I really like the idea of the bed that you pull down on struts. I wasn't to build me my own camper and what I have seen people use for there beds to be lowered is not only complicated but also expensive whereas 4 shocks would work great. So that to me is a really good design. Then on the floor I would want a more residential looking couch and probably 2 swivel chairs on the other side with a small table that would pop up between the 2 chairs so it makes it a place to eat and to make it more like a tiny home. I myself am very short at 4ft 11in tall so the height would not matter to me. I also like the all in one bath because it saves on so much space. Hopefully soon one of these companies would be able to make one light enough to where a regular sized car would be able to pull it with no problem. I read in one of the comments that someone said you showed one that had a Murphy bed and I would like to find that video and watch it because that also is a cool idea. Thank you for this video. God bless 🙏💞🙏

  • We have a 2021 Grand design 22RBE XLS. I pull it with my half ton easily with a dry weight of 5125 and a hitch weight of 497. We have a big bathroom in the rear with a 30 x 36 shower, our regular 60 x 80 queen bed you can walk around is in front and the slide with 2 theater chairs and our table is on the camp side and sits right across from the 32" Roku TV. We have huge counter space, a good size farm sink and an 8 cu ft refrigerator and a good size freezer. I think the tank sizes are fresh 82, Black 37, 2 Grey one front for the sink one in back for the shower / sink at 21 each for a total of 42. We do have a power awning and the slide does not take up too much awning space. 4 people could sit under it just fine. It didn't cost us an arm and a leg - under $20k in 2021. At a total end to end length of 26' (the box is 22') we can fit into any national park spot.

  • To be honest, I don't really care for any of them. The only one that's marginally affordable is the r-pod. The other two are way too pricey for what you get. I understand you may want them because you have a small towbvehicle but I think that it would be very crowded to have a couple in any of these. The Hike has some interesting features, and I would like the quasi-toy hauler feature given that I would need to take a power scooter or wheelchair with me being disabled, I'm not particularly tall and that bed would be a real challenge. I'm actually fine with wet baths because being disabled I do have to sit down when I shower so they actually work fine for me. Space wise, the Airstream had the best I think layout but at over $100,000, you don't get a lot for that. Obviously Airstreams have been around forever and have a very good quality reputation but still, ouch on the price tag! I've seen some other smaller camper reviews you've done in the past that I think are better options or even some of the Murphy bed smaller camper reviews you've done are better choices. I realize you're reviewing what is available but as I said I just wasn't really a fan of any of them.
