    • @@tracetrace2147 Well, depends on two factors: 1, is if Elon Musk decides to sell or allow government access to your thoughts, which may or may not happen because Neuralink is a private company. 2, unless you're someone that works in a large company that knows about very sensitive data, they probably won't care about what time you leave your house or your commute to work.

And also aid the deaf in hearing, the blind to see and those paralysed or quadriplegic to move or have an easier life. Later things will include telepathy, ai symbiosis, full immersion vr, recording memory or downloading it. Learn via a download rather than a huge text book. • Yes, well one of the biggest challenges, another threshold to cross will be the ability to decode neural data into a human readable read write medium. Current artificial neural networks are black boxes when it comes to decision making; the brain is a bit more complex. I feel like we may need a technique for decoding current artificial neural networks before we can really make headway with reading and writing directly to brains in a meaningful way but I could be wrong. Sure we can use artificial neural networks to discover patterns about complex array of casesading neuronal signals within a brain but can those artificial neural networks tell us what they've learnt or will we have a black box operating on another back box? If this is the outcome how would we define stable code? No observable physical abnormalities or seizures. What about unwanted behavioral changes and hebs law? Very interesting things to think about
