  • So, the fourth video I have watched this evening is more clear, describes everything about how the gun should be used, knows the names of what they are describing and generally seems to know more than the other three videos. Good for you! and me for watching.! You have many views and that is a clear indicator that you know what you are doing. It is even better that I do not have to go to Amazon to make purchases. I prefer to going to shops that do not sell tools and food on the same aisle. I will be checking out your website. Thank you so much for providing an excellent video. I look forward to trying this new idea (new for me) that I have found.

    • Hi I think I can answer this! If you're talking about the length of the yarn piles that are shot into the fabric, the amount of pressure you place on the cloth with your gun it what effects the length. More pressure, longer piles

    @contentgremlinthe3rd@contentgremlinthe3rd Жыл бұрын
    • Just a slight kick, it will kick back much more if you did not put some pressure onto the fabric. Also it could be that the needle is not piercing the fabric thoroughly. I hope u understand my basic english 🤣

    • From personal experience and having to be ignored by tons of people who post videos about tufting , yet never answer thus question , what you should do is build a yarn holder or of such so that the yarn has very very minimum pulling on it.

  • For anyone who makes rugs : How would you judge pricing when making rugs for a commission?

    @lucyhxart2268@lucyhxart2268 Жыл бұрын
    • Depends on materials and cost of the supplies it took for the rug. Something around $100 is fair I believe . But for a commission I’ve seen people pay like $300+ lol

      @shaggy8606@shaggy8606 Жыл бұрын
    • Like with any form of craft it will come down to making back the cost of the materials plus profit, so make note of how much you spent on materials, then you factor in shipping if you intend on selling online or outside of your home area and finally you factor in the time it takes you to complete a project which will be your profit. If you plan to live on these commissions or use it as a side hustle alongside your current job you will have to charge in the hundreds otherwise you will just be breaking even at best or tanking your wallet funds at worst.
