Great video man
No way the goat just commented! It means a lot man 💪🏽
@RhodyRugs I need any where I can send u the video of my problem
@@daionwhitworth8767 Instagram would work best
Thats awesome, I have always wanted to try rug making. I will say though, that mask isn't doing anything. Thats a particulate mask for dust, and does nothing for vapors. Get yourself a respirator with a carbon filter otherwise don't even bother. I work in the adhesive industry and have lots of experience with this, not just a keyboard warrior. Stay safe and keep making cool stuff.
Rug making is definitely fun! Thank you for the advice as well, much appreciated 😁
YOU ARE WONDERFUL!! Thank you for taking your time out to do this video. Very detailed.
For the tv in the back that says “Joann please sponsor me” you should do a black outline for the word “Joann” like you have it for “sponsor me”, I didn’t notice the word “Joann” untill the camera focused on it, just a helpful tip for more recognition, on another note I’ve never bought or tried to make a rug ever in my life, so good job at keeping someone like me entertained throughout the video👍💪
Very helpful tip, thank you very much! If you ever decide to make your first rug hopefully this helps you 😁
I thought the same...I can't see it
You are truly appreciated ❤

Great detailed video.

I just came across the term tufting in a latch hook video and didn't know what that was at all. I searched the term and chose your video... I'm so glad I did ! What a great tutorial, as a absolut zero knowledge person I understood everything perfectly. Thank you sonvery much for taking the time to make this video. Much love and success to you in your endeavors ❤
I appreciate this so much! I’m really happy it helps 😁
youre awesome thanks man
No problem!
🎉🎉🎉 congratulations
Thank you
😁
Great video
💪🏽
Don't want to make a rug, but I definitely liked the way you teach..
Thank you 🤙🏽
Yes
@azazelswings 👏👏👏same with me!! Thank you, Rhody! Beautiful English! I enjoyed listening your language. I want to try to make a rug now. I was 7 years old when I went to Armenia to visit my mom’s friends and they made bid area rugs there. I helped them. It was fascinating. The technique was different but also very interesting. So, thank you very much again 🙏🙏🤗
Thank you 😊
Great video! What Fiber specific yarn do you use or recommend?
You GYATT to be kidding me with the intro lol 😝
🤣
Thank you for the Video, Dude! The best that I´ve seen so far. The only thing Im wondering, ....why was the Logo all white at the end ? Wasnt it supposed to have more colors,...as the customer asked for. All the best.
Thank you very much 😁 Also the customer ended up making a couple changes
Hey, love the thorough explanation. One question, what software do you use for the designs?
Thank u
No problem 😄
Incredible work my friend!
😁
Thank you so much! For putting all this together! I always thought the shaving was done on the frame, do you think its easier your way?
I’m glad it helped! I can say that it helps me doing it all at once rather than on the frame + after. But I’ve seen some other creators do some extremely great shaving while it’s still on the frame. I’d recommend figuring out what gives you the best results. Everyone has preferences 😁
Hey buddy i really like this art. You motivate me beginning my own creations. I just gave you a sub im from uganda 🇺🇬 tho getting all these quality raw materials may be so challenging but one tym ima be your level. Blessings bruh.
I appreciate that man 😁
@@RhodyRugs I guess if i use a loop pile gun I'd likely not shave the rugs when im done. Which of the two guns produce quality outcomes.? Or both work perfectly well & just choice to use either?
Thanks so much. Beginner here, definitely so informative. One question, where do you get the labels/ tags, is it just regular stickers that you print on?
You’re seriously great! Ive done a couple rugs trial and error with how to use the yarn. And let me just say you are the first to actually show and explain how you set your yarn up, which i will definitely be trying! Thanks man keep doing your thing 😌✌🏽
I appreciate it!!
Hi Rhody! Wanna ask do you cover the edges with some fabric all just leave it like that? Thanks for awsome video guide and your work peace ✌️
I've seen some people add fabric to the edges but I personally don't because the back is gonna be on a wall or floor so its not really needed
excellent video...what do you use for the tacks that you are stretching the fabric on?
Just tac strips, you can get them at Home Depot for $3
Awesome work! But what instructions do you give your orders for washing? Would you recommend machine washable or hand wash?
W VIDEO🔥🔥
Thank you 🙏🏽
Love your videos! Can you please link the yarn you use?!
Red heart yarn, link is in the description 😁
Wow this is extremely detailed and helpful , how do u get the qr codes like that n stickers
I’ll hopefully be making a video on this 😁
You should produce more of those guards and sell them
Hey thank u so much for this video Although I didn’t really get the gliding vs pushing the gun up part and it happens to be my problem can you explain better?
It’s hard to put into words. But I push the gun into the fabric and press the button. Letting the gun pushing itself up for the most part. Just don’t force the gun, direct it
man awesome video, i was wondering a specific thing.. i wanna know how thick or what specific thickness of yarn u use, cuz it seems to be several choices at the red heart page and im doubting wich one to choose.. thank you in advance
I believe the thickness I use is 4
Hello!! Aside making the imagine horizontal from photoshop/laptop rather!! Is it possible to project your imagine from the front side of your frame/Fabric then trace it at the backside?! That way it's do appear horizontal ryt?!!...
Awesome video pal Hey how did u no it was done just from looking at the back,as you can't see the front view while on the stand,is it just a matter of doing it enough to no when its finished,or do u just fill every hole on the canvas,I'm new to this much love all the way from new zealand
so you fill the majority in, but you leave small spaces in between colors for detailing. Once you get some experience, it gets much easier
Wow awesome.?.how do you make your labels?😊
I’ll make a video on it 😁
Wwhat type of yarn would you recomend to get thick fluffy rugs without using 4-5 strings?
Not sure if I missed it but what’s the pile length you use?
hey bro great video, i have a question, how much do you charge and how do you cost your work? thanks in advance.😎
What’s the dimensions of your frame and all the inside sizes. Great video tho much respect for the breakdown and detail
Great video man, its gonna be a help setting up everything. I got a question tho when u make the frame for the fabric, cant u just put in the nails yourself? so u can strech the fabric? Cause i dont think im gonna be able to ship the frame from amazon to my country due to the nails
Also do u follow the exact number colour of each img?
Yes you can! Though I do recommend the Tac strips. I get them from Home Depot for $3
Can you add the link for the gloves? Not sure what to search for!
Excellent tutorial Thank you for sharing
Another W video Edit: i missed u
Great video but I do have a question. I have an AK1 and it's my understanding that the original AK1's have the metal toggle on/off switch that goes left to right and the look alikes have the plastic red switches. Is this one an actual AK1?
Honestly I’ve just been using the one from Amazon. I’m not 100% sure so I can give a definite answer. But I will say it works just as well as the other guns I’ve seen 😁
Thanks for all the info! How do you deal with copyright? I see in this case the design was changed but I know that wont always be the case with clients :)
I never do the same design twice. So most companies don’t really care. But always staying careful and asking for permission from companies that actually respond is ideal
Good day brother. I’m watching from the Philippines 🇵🇭. Can you tell me how to get this tools and also knowledges on making this rugs. I’m really interested on making this and also to convert it in to business here in the Philippines. Thank you so much and more power to you. 😊
Hello can you please share which projector you have since you Amazon like is different from the one in the video
amzn.to/4d331ZY This is the one I use, right now it has a sale 😁
What kind of projector you use?
What type of scissors are you using ?
i got lucky! there’s a joanns next to my house! ( i hope you get that promo you deserve)
Thank you 🙌🏽
Hey! Where did you get the stickers to put on the back of the rug??
I make them myself 😁
What is the difference if with using one strand of yarn as opposed to 2
What thickness for the yarn do people normally use ? 😳
Does this work is worthy as a business
How do you keep your yarn in the tufting gun I keep having it fall out while I’m tufting
either your yarn balls are too tight or your tufting machine hole isn't small enough. You can adjust the hole you feed the yarn through
How would you safely remove carpet adhesive from the applicator? Not sure if to use water from the sink
I try to scrape as much off as possible back I got the bucket. Then use paper towel
Hi, im starting my tufting process and i want to know if you have a size for the yarn!
I think its 4
Hello! I decided to try this as a hobby but for some reason the yarn stops or gets stuck at gun. Idk if it is to big o or not sure what’s happening. I’ll appreciate your advice
Do you have something that make the yarn stay about the gun so it doesn’t get caught?
I keep getting holes help!!
When I go to the store and look at yarn, they typically have two sizes. Does it matter which one I use? If I need two colors, is it important that both colors are the same size as each other?
You can make the frame with 2x4 and furniture nail if you dont want to spend to much on it
Hey Rhoda, How can you be contacted to do a personalized design?
On Instagram would be best
What is the tough stuff fabric link?
tuft-stuff.com?aff=44
What’s a better way to get my cloth tighter because the carpet strips don’t work for me. Thanks
Did you make sure the Tac strips are facing the right way?
Push the nailer strips on by using a spong. If you use a dense sponge like a scrub daddy to put the fabric on you won’t have to use gloves

@@RhodyRugs thank you
25:40 That mask aint for protection, its for dampening your own exhale velocity (protecting the patients open wound from the surgeons breath). I think for fumes, you need one of those masks with cans on the side
when the tufting gun is not in use it's important to give oil after a week or month?
I 100% agree
I'm an artist my teacher at school tried to encourage me to make rugs but I didn't realize how goes into this I just don't have tht kind of patience. But You are a amazing artist Bro and a great teacher yourself.
Thank you so much 😁
