🌲 About me:
My name is Joseph & I'm based out of British Columbia Canada. I’ve been living full time in my self built minivan conversion since 2019. Choosing the lifestyle was an adaptation to some very difficult life’s circumstances. Van life has allowed me to reflect more carefully, take responsibility, rebalance, and grow much faster than I think I could have otherwise. It has taught me a different way of life that I've come to appreciate more and more and it has afforded me more resources to share with myself, my family, and the community. It has also put me more in touch with nature, both inner and outer, and these are huge passions of mine that I share here.
My goal is to share the journey with you and with that, inspire, teach, and foster awareness with our connections. I truely want to co-develop a stronger healthier world community with all of you and I love meeting you in the wild when it happens.
Some of my most fundamental values and visions are built around food, conservation, education, humility, Integrity, development, exploration, community, and love
The world is my playground, my school, my mother and certainly not mine.
Gratitude and much love

  • Delta 2 user for almost 8 months. Here is my review and pros and cons. Couple of things, the efficiency is around 80% so the total wh is around 800wh of real usage, it’s pretty noise while charging, though you can drop charging through the app to lower noise, Ups is not good. Not recommended for backing the computer as it’s too slow, and there have been reports of heat issues and power draining while using flow through and ups. Remember eco flow is Chinese and the Chinese are known for information fishing, and according to many people once you connect it to the app and the wifi it’s sending tons of personal information out to China, just like with anker. I have the delta 2, planning to add the extra battery as it’s on the Sumer sale rn, then get some solar panels. Pros life cycle of battery, Medium to light weight, 1800 watt pure inverter 2700 jump. Fast charging, solar inputs, expandable, app wifi and Bluetooth connectivity, software updates. Have used this to get by with rolling black outs. Worked for all my necessities and appliances, I am satisfied with the product, as my delta didn’t come with the batch that had major issues such as the River 2 series. Compared to the competition Such as Bluetti, and anker it’s neck and neck

  • I live in a sticks and bricks, have 2 Jackery's (started out with them, years ago), 1 Bluette, and 4 EcoFlow's, all of varying sizes. What I don't like about the Jackery's is that their portable solar panels are proprietary, meaning they don't have the MC4 connector's. My understanding is that you can get adapter's, but I don't like having to buy additional accessories. The Bluette and EcoFlow's both use MC4 connectors, so am able to use with the much cheaper standard solar panels, right out of the box. The EcoFlow's are my favorite, because of the fast charge time (they are the fastest on the market), they have passthrough ability (you can use them while they are charging), are more cost effective than the Bluette, or Jackery, and I like EcoFlow's digtal display screens better. I've also found that EcoFlow has a refurbished collection, that comes with a free 2 year warranty. My latest purchase was a refurbished Delta Max 1600, that I got for $700 ($699). However, I've just learned that EcoFlow is no longer including the solar power cord with the unit, and that cord alone costs about $30. This doesn't affect me, since I already had 3, that used to come with each unit, but it is something to be aware of.

  • Thank you for the review! I have the jackery 300 which I really enjoy but need to upgrade to something with a little bit more power. I'm debating on the jackery 2000 Pro especially cuz you can expand it with battery packs but it's nice to know that the ecoflow is also expandable even if it's limited I don't really need as much power as the big jackery but I do like the idea that you can get more power if you need to. Gives me some more to think about before I jump in and buy. Thank you!

  • EcoFlow has a high output DC port (30A) on the Delta Pro. This could be connected to a distribution box to power all the appliances in a van build. Bluetti and Goal Zero offer this as well, but similar to EcoFlow, only on the large power stations.

If they promote the battery life for 10 years worth of use etc. why not offer a compelling warranty to back the product. One year warranty doesn't fill me confidence my Delta 2 is going to go the distance. the battery may be useable but means nothing if everything attached to is fails. Time will tell. I'm postponing other ecoflow purchases until they have had a bit more time in the market and see how others experiences compare.
