Here's How to Install Tiger Ice Skates on the G Pro X Superlight. This is the preferred way I've seen across the net so I figured I'd make a video to demonstrate how to apply Tiger ICE or really any other aftermarket mice skates such as Corepads or Hyperglides.

These new skates are already feeling awesome. A little scratchy before some break-in but they really started to glide during last night's stream!
Thanks so much bro, this helped me alot. I wish you end the year beautiful
I’m glad it was helpful! And same to you!
Thanks for the vid! I used tweezers to remove the stock skates which worked great
Of course! Thanks for watching!
I probably should have kept the default sensor ring on because I kept it on with my old LG glass mouse feet/skates, the tiger ice V2 one is just a little too big for the ring to fit inside flush. The Puck also feels like its scratching if I keep that on so I just take it off, it takes off a few grams of weight on the mouse anyway so I think that's why everyone just leaves it off.
Great video!
thank you homie i was having lod issues with the sensor after replacing my skates and the problem was the black feet part that i forgot to remove
Nice! Glad the video helped out with that. If they don’t peel off it’s easy to miss!
Thank you so much bro!!
No problem!!
wish I watched this video before installing mine cause I thought it was odd there were no screw hole and now my sensor doesn't pick up half the time
Thx for this video...i install a set of this and my sensor got lift of issue..didnt know u had to remove the tape under the feet....
Yeah no prob! Remove that adhesive and whatnot from underneath and you should be good to go!
Is there a plastic piece on the adhesive side that makes it thicker? I installed it and it was super choppy like it wasnt picking up the sensor well
Should just be mouse (get it to bare plastic when you remove the old feet) then adhesive then new feet.
What mousepad do you use with this setup? I bought both tiger ice feet and corepads and I will try to compare them and I don’t have to worry about buying new ones in the future. I’m also wondering if I should buy an artisan hein and not sure what the best mousepad to buy. Great video by the way!
Artisan Hien is supposed to be very good. I’ve only ever used a GSR and I’m currently using a Skypad 2.0 XL.
@@HotSauceZee well I bought an artisan hein and I definitely recommend lol it may be a little steep for a mousepad but it’s hands down amazing feeling mousepad I’m currently still trying to get my mouse feet in I’ve heard of superglides being good but I’m not sure
@@ethancbaker2002 I’d recommend using corepadz for hybrid pads like the hien and tiger ice for cloth pads.
@@frogidty I bought both the tiger ice feet and corepads. I haven’t used the corepads but the tiger ice feet are amazing when you break them in. Best mouse feet ever when you use an artisan hein
@@frogidty I may go back and try the corepads but I only have one set of tiger ice feet which is dumb so I might just wear out those and buy more tiger ice feet later or use corepads
Thanks alot
No problem!
I don't have any scratchy feeling on my stock mouse skates but I have the skates, should I install them anyways or should I wait for the stock ones to wear out?
Up to you really. If you are fine with the way the stock ones are gliding right now then I'd just wait them out.
I tried doing the same and the middle and back went well but the adhesive under the large foot on the front just refuses to come off and while part of it rubbed off the entire thing has yet to peel
You might have to use some goo gone or something on it
Where did you find these and did you have lod issues
You can usually find them at lethal gaming gear. I didn’t have any LOD issues either. Just have to be sure to remove the extra stuff under the stock feet as well like I show in the video. If you don’t, there could be LOD issues.
@@HotSauceZee OK thank you and these are you favorite feet
Do you prefer it over corepads?
I actually have not tried Corepads. So I can’t weigh in there. From what I have read these are comparable though!
@@HotSauceZee thank you
خذيت كور باد ممتازه مهما كانت م راح تكون اسوء من الستوك فيت انصحك فيها
After i had my gpro superlight for a year the default skates are falling off i just now ordered tiger ice in hope they hold longer than a year
They might. Depends on what type of pad you’re using, how much pressure you use and how long you play. My Tiger ICE didn’t last super long on the Sky Pad.
@@HotSauceZee im using the glorious xxl mousepad but i might get a new one soon
thanks for the help!
No problem!
You definitely need to remove ALL the shit on the puck right down to the hard plastic before applying that piece or else it will be lifted and the sensor will be choppy. Great skates though they feel nice
Yeah for sure. On mine, interestingly enough, my puck doesn't even touch the pad when I have it on there so I just leave it off. Lol
i used rubbing alcohol on mine and all it did was spread the old adhesive around and make a big mess
Yeah sometimes that stuff can be kind of goopy. You may have to use something a bit stronger like Goo Gone to cut through the old adhesive. It can be pretty oily stuff though so I’d go back after that and make sure to get that oil off.
When we are taking off the stock pads can we use a heat gun?
I suppose you could. Though I wouldn’t really deem it necessary from my experience.
@@HotSauceZee alright
stupid me put the glides on the black resedue like a dumbass - not this time. thanks
How long did it take you to get them
Not too long at all really. A few days
on camera it looks like tiger arc 2s
Probably pretty similar
Are you happy with this mouse?
I haven’t had any issues with it so I’d say yes I am. 👍🏻
Thanks. Anyone else watch this upside down?
