When I put on a plastic screen protector I also had trouble with the fingerprint scanner but after a while and adding my index and thumb for both hands on my phone it works without problem every time, don't know why at first it did that
Maybe the Fingerprint scanner issue is related to it being an ultrasonic sensor. Whereas I've seen Samsung's optical fingerprint scanner work well with tempered glass.
Thanks for sharing, I have gone thru all that you have a few times [ and up to my third try with different brands of screen protectors that okay for fingerprint scanning....all failed to read the whole fingerprint...]
Hi. Yes same here. I can never seem to find any screen protectors that work properly with fingerprints. It's a bit weird with this one because it didn't work at first, then it did, then it sometimes will and sometimes wont. Maybe it's something to do with ambient light, I don't know??? Cheers, dave.
@@DavidHarry This is the reason I went with the s20 FE. I knew from my experience with the S10 that those ultrasonic sensors (S10, S20, S21) just wont work fine with glass screen protectors. The optical scanner on my s20FE works perfect trough a tempered glass screen protector, it even still works if i put the s2fe in a sport-armband additionally. My s10's scanner would refuse to work either with the armband or with any glass protectors. Unfortunately I have never seen any reviewer talk about this so far.
My tempered glass screen protector has fingerprint working out of the box, idk how it works but I just put the screen protector on and fingerprint still works properly.
I mean.. a problem to scene all of this would be if every phone case came with a screen protector that is attached to edges. I dont get why people dont focus on protecting the front of their phones.
I hate putting those things on. I can never get it right. I guess that alignment tool is real life saver!

The Ultra S21 already comes with a screen saver installed... if you install another one on top, you will not be able to have your fingerprint identified
Yes, but if you watched the video he removed the pre-installed one first.

@@lolbeckstar I have the same phone, and I can assure you that the transportation protection plastic is way flimsier and has tabs for easy removal. He removed the pre-installed screen protector. :)

Just wondered how you and getting on with the fingerprint scanner after a few months? These UniqueMe S21 tempered glass protects have extremely mixed reviews! Are you finding it still works more often than not? Thanks in advance

I'm having this problem with standard s21. Giant circle that can't be ignored. I see it while browsing or watching videos. Not sure how to fix?
@@StreamingTheMagic its your screen protector, you need to switch to one without that. Look at the whitestone dome ones or im using the zagg invisible shield glass fusion one that doesn't have that. I couldn't take that on a phone. Get rid of the one you have and find a new one. Look up the reviews for a s21 by a channel hightechcheck, he does a great job breaking them down.

My GoTo temperglass screen protector doesn't work well at all with my s21:(.....I went to the store I bought if from. They changed the protector 3 times and confirmed it still wasn't working. Then they just gave me my 40$ back. Idk what else to do.

Yes there is. Every one of my Samsung phones come with one on the front and back, I still haven't taken it off my s21+

No because the S21 Ultra has a curved screen and the S21 and the S21 Plus don't so they are able to make full glue screen protectors for the S21 and the S21 Plus
Always clear your fingerprints before installing then redo them once its installed

Its Samsung's fault for including an in screen fingerprint sensor. It should just be separate at the back like the note 9 or pixel phones. Nobody needs an in screen fingerprint sensor.
Exactly I miss it like how it was on the back of my s8 plus.
In screen fingerprint works fine with one plus phones , only samsung has this problem

Exactly, I remember when the S8 came out everybody dropped about the back fingerprint since you're, but me it works flawless and it's 100% better than the in screen fingerprint sensor that everybody wanted
I WILL NEVER EVER TRUST UNIQUEME AGAIN. I ordered a screen protector for my A51 and I put it on. THE NEXT MORNING I TIED MY SHOE AND MY PHONE FEEL OUT MY POCKET! IT CRACKED SO BADLY IT IS UNUSABLE. THE PIXELS AND DEAD AND THE SCREEN WONT RESPOND. IT HAD NO CRACKS BEFORE UNIQUE ME SCREEN PROTECTOR. Im broke so I cant replace the phone. UniqueMe are scam artists.
