Dude....this video saved me hours of installation..step by step was on POINT.... final installation looks killer! Thanks 👊🏼
What tools and sizes were needed?
Just finished watching the video, honestly, I was not expecting much from the brightness of the side led's, I have to admit I am quite impressed. I will be saving this video for my side light install, Thanks AdventureDex.
+Denis Picciuolo thanks for the positive feedback Denis! They are very bright and great for being able to see to the left and right where the headlights can't reach!
Cool video, clear no bad audio. Right to the point. Showing step-by-step instructions. No music blasting on how to vid making it hard to understand. Started to follow, already clicked on links for add on to my jeep. Keep up the good work.
Thank you! I love the feedback and will continue to make top notch Jeep installation videos!
Awesome video! I've had my eye on a set of these for Project Dirty Willy.
+Rocky X TV they are sweet! Glad you enjoyed! #jeepwave
Awesome video brother, thank you for the step by step tutorial.
+Titan Ro thanks for the positive feedback! #jeepwave
I just bought these mirror lights right before Christmas and had no way of how to make these lights be a plug and play type for in the summer time when I want to take the doors off. AdventureDex glad you posted this video! This will help me a lot when I install mine! Great videos! Have watched most of your videos and I've learned something from all them.
Thanks a lot Eddie! I am so glad that this video helped! I enjoyed making it and am glad you enjoyed watching! Feel free to watch this video when doing your install. It is not extremely difficult if you take it step by step! Thanks for the support! #jeepwave
I like these better than the light bars. it's more discreet and gets the job done, great video.
I agree Jeff! Thanks for watching!
Great Video. I have a more basic 2013 wrangler, roll up windows, manual mirrors, this shows me I can add these even though I have the manual mirrors. Thanks again.
putting the string on the end of the old mirror will save you a great deal of work THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR THAT TIP!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great videos man. I love them. They really helped my jeep look great
Thanks Amir!
AdventureDex up load more
On the mirror separating aspect: put the connecting bolt back into the bottom about four clockwise turns leaving about 3/8” of the bolt away from tight. Then hold mirror extention arm, and use hammer to drive bolt down towards mirror housing, three good blows will separate the extention from the mirror housing. Time: 7 seconds
Thanks for sharing!!
I subscribed because I own a Jeep 2014 wrangler JKU as well and your tutorials are soooo helpful. Keeps my husband from having to help me all the time :)
I love these!! Already looking into getting these. They're gorge!
Question!! What lights do I need to purchase to match the LED mirrors?
Thanks for the comment! Yea, they are always!
What do you mean match? Where are you planning on mounting the lights?
Gorge? No offense, but you typed out every other word- why not finish typing out gorgeous? Ugh society today. "Let's make fetch a word".
TheJohnhazelair Um... Why do you give a shit about how I talk? I'm a chick, not a dick so if I want to say gorge, I can. And yes, I made fetch happen. 😉
Well this video helped me decide to buy the mirrors, great video Bro, thanx!
Nice video. I think I'm a step closer to buying these now!
Thanks Louis! These are awesome! Totally recommend
These look great on your jeep!
Thanks alot Colin! #jeepwave
Excellent installation
Im not sure if anyone else has posted this. But it's easier to separate the base of the side mirror from the housing by leaving the mirror screwed in the housing so you have more support when you're hitting it
Libni Guerrero this saved my day. After 30 minutes of hammering with a screwdriver, I went to HD and purchased a 4” Hex Cap Screw, class 8.8, m8-1.25x100 then screwed it most of the way into the threads and hit it with a regular hammer several times. Using the longer screw was the only way I was able to separate the parts and it only took a min. Than you
Very helpful!! My next mod!
Thanks!!
Great video! I was nervous to try this but I feel better after watching this video. Side question, what interior rgb lights did you get? Thanks again!
These are on my list as I like the smoke turn signals and the lights
Badass Dex! I've got a mirror I gotta change out. Some idiot hit my jeep mirror on the left and gotta replace. Thanks for the instructions.
Anytime Luis!! 🤙🏼
That's a great video dex thx i like those mirrors nice
Thanks Yaniel!
So there is no way I have the patience or talent to do that. But still wanted to thank you for the video and they are freaking awesome looking!
+mets0403 Thanks for the support! If I can do it then I am sure you can! #jeepwave
Great video, I was looking at your build list because I like your grill with the light bar installed to check out the grill & didn't see it listed, I checked out the links you provided is that custom?
I love your vids keep it up
Thanks alot for the support!
Thanks for watching! I hope you enjoyed! #jeepwave
Off subject, where did you get your color ac covers? the Red really sticks out, and I think that would look good in my gray jk! Great vid btw!!! and happy new year.
+Denis Picciuolo Thanks a lot Denis! I have a DIY video on how to paint the vent covers! Check out my other videos! Thanks for watching! Happy new year
AdventureDex when hooking up the power of the lights that color wires did u hook it up too in your jeep at the bottom? that's where I got lost at. and trying to put it on a switch. confused
AdventureDex i have a problem i think i installed in a bad way my mirrors connection cables, is there a way you can show me how to do it without the string u tie to the cables? I took it out without a tie string on the cables of the power mirrors
+Daniel Gonzales no worries just use a snake to feed the wires through. You can get one at any hardware store!
Thanks for that, this'll help a lot - getting some in in a few days that I'll have to wire up myself, looks like a really cool product. Any tips for getting it through the door panel hole if one doesn't have the power mirror harness to help fish it through?
Thanks a lot bro!
Those mirrors are so sick ! I will buy some for my jeep
Thanks!!
Nice! love it
I love those side mirror lights is it possible you could send me info on how to get them wow man I did not think that they would throw that much light from one side to the next that’s awesome
I ended up purchasing the Xprite Clear Lens Red LED Brake Tail Lights Assembly with Rear Turn Signal Reverse Lights For Jeep Wrangler JK which looked and worked just like the Anzio lights for half the price. Great test though, gave me insite and direction.
Thanks for the comment Michael! I am glad you found the video helpful! #jeepwave
Can you explain more how to install this side mirrors to me please im lost and dont know what to do i love watching you videos just in this installation im having a hard time hope to here from you soon and thank you for your KZhead channel it helps alot
After watching your very helpful video I bought a set of these. Unfortunately I couldn't get over the large gaps between the glass and new housing so I sent em back. Great video though.
Thanks for sharing! What large gaps?
On the set I ordered from Amazon there was a large gap between the outward side of the glass mirror and the new led housing. For me, the mirror looked way too small in that housing. Got mine from Lantsun on Amazon.
Yah that is usually how they are!
Thanks, I'll get them in short order. Will mention you in the notes.
Hey, Dax, I was enjoying this video, but I have a couple of issues with it. First, during the wiring phase you connected the ground wire to the frame and you already had you quick connects on the other two wires, but where did you connect those too? You went from the negative ground to soldering the other three wires and you lost me there. Also, while serpentining the wires to the other side, how would I connect those?
6 and half hours later! lmao. Just got a pair of these same LED mirrors will install tomorrow thanks for the tutorial buddy
LOL Thanks for watching Matt! Goodluck with your install!
Great video they look great
Thanks alot!
Good video! I might have used a door panel tool. They are really cheap and lessen the stress on the clips.
Where to get tool?
@@demarcuscrump4904 Local auto parts store will sell them in a set.
Great video!
Thanks Buck! #jeepwave
Does this work with Jeep gladiator 2020 since everything is usually the same on wrangler
Question: I have these and love them but on one, the light went out so only one of them work. Can they be replaced or do I need to change them all the way out?
I just saw these this month and was wondering if I could find a video of them, they look awesome. Did you wire both LEDs to the same toggle switch? Also, you had to cut the white/red wire for the indicators and splice the wire into it correct?
Thanks for the comment bro! I already had my pod switch prewired so I ran the two positives from the LED mirrors connected them together and connected it to the switch. For the indicators, if you have a true splice clip you don't have to cut the wire, you can clip directly onto it and it makes the connection very easy! Hope that helps! Thanks for watching!
awesome glad to see a local Toronto supplier! how do you think these will hold up? how's the build quality? thanks for the awesome install
Thanks for the comment! They seem to be good quality! The housing is exactly the same as the Mopar so as long as you don't hit them on anything they should last! Thanks for watching!
I can’t wait to do it to my Jeep
Great video man. Just installed a pair of led mirrors. Not those but basically same thing. Only problem I’m having is the turn signals only work if the spot lights are on. Not sure what’s up.
That is strange, you might of wired the whole thing up to a switch instead of having them independent! Thanks for watching!
I know this is old, but hopefully you are still answering questions about it. I'm doing a similar job and I'm wondering what is the easiest way to get the turn signal light wires into the inside of the Jeep? The wiring of these to make the turn signals and spot lights work has me a bit stumped. Thank You!
I'd like to get those for my 1997 80's series. Looks awesome! Can it be done?
Thanks for the comment! It could be done but it would have to be custom fabricated! You could possibly get a very slim flush mount LED and mount them behind the mirror. Hope that helps! thanks for watching!
I cannot seem to find the indicator light wire on the factory harness. I’ve searched using a tester with no luck. Perhaps the amperage isn’t high enough to power the mirror indicator light? What color is the stock oem indicator light power wire on either side of the vehicle? I’ve tested the indicator light right to the battery and it illuminates just fine
I’ll never do this but I’ll still watch
Haha Thanks for watching!
How about a led kit that you cut your mirror housing & install. Note also it would be good to purchase some OEM connectors to create harness from led wiring through door panel to give more professional installation.
Just wondering why you didn't use a three terminal connector where you used the three "Quick Connects" to extend the wiring for the LEDs? Would have made it much easier to disconnect when you take the doors off
What type of rosin solder did you use to wire? And as far as the quick disconnects, what size were they (12-10 AWG, 16-14 AWG, 22-18 AWG)? Thanks! Can't wait to do this to mine! :) Keep up the vids!
Thanks for the comment William, Unfortunately I don't know the answer to either questions. The quick disconnects that I would recommend are these (amzn.to/2nJUNQu) Thanks for watching!
Good video. Are those LED side lights legal for highway/street use? And are they adjustable for more forward use?
All depends on your local laws! Thanks for watching
I have a 6 botton switch that goes in the inside of my roof, where you say that you have two possitive, one goes to the signal light. Does the other one go on the switch box or where does it go??
Sir, I have a 2019 jeep wrangler, and would love those Mirrors, will they work on my Jeep?
Hello, thanks a lot for your video, we followed it step by step to make it, but one of my side mirror sis missing one of the 3 little screws behind the mirror, I was wondering if you knew what kind of screw is it to buy one, thank you
Glad you found it helpful! Now sure on the screw as it’s been a while since I did this install. Thanks for watching
@@adventuredex That was a fast answer, yes that was very helpful, mostly the string trick, and no problem, I just didn't want to have to take one out again 🤷🏻♂️ thank you tho
Hi I did install the two mirror with the LED light and everything work perfect, But the problem that I have right now it’s with the one wiring left for the Brinker, Also in my turn signal adapter I have just two wiring black and white what should I do to make it work ? Thanks
I have a 2012 JK Sport 2dr. It's a basic model, so no power doors, locks or mirrors. Is there an install/ wiring video for that?
Thanks for the comment! Its the same process just use a snake to fish the wires through the door. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching!
Great video Dex! loving the jeep!
Thanks alot Ben! I appreciate the support! #jeepwave
Ben .Lux
Nice pro tip with the string!
Haha glad you like that! #protip
Is there any tip if i did it without the string? I cant get my cables through
+Daniel Gonzales use a snake!
my passenger mirror came apart with no problem, I am about to give up on getting the driver mirror apart.....whew....good video very helpful.
Hey man! I have heated and power mirrors on my 2015 Sahara. Will these replacements also be heated and power mirrors?
Thanks for the comment! Yes, these will work with no problems!
So when you have your parking lights on does this turn in the indicator on the mirrorsV
I wish my jeep was that nice 👍
Thanks Roy! It can be!
How can you wire these to your DRLs and turn signals? I used a splitter running the turn signal wire to both but either one works or the other but not both. Any suggestions? Thanks!
I don’t believe they can work simultaneously
good job bud
Thanks bro!
How'd you wore to driver side door then to the wiring pod? I connect wires to driver door wires, then I tap into those to run to pod/turn signal?
Yes, you only need to connect the two LED's. The turn signals get wired individually cuz they are controlled separately by each side. Hope that answers your questions.
I was watching your video onto how install your LED lights side mirrors my doors have power locks power windows but not my side mirrors what can I do
It makes no difference in the installation, follow the same steps! Thanks for watching!!
hey bro. I've been trying to tint my soft top from a long time now and I couldn't. Any tip?
Hey Elvis, thanks for the comment but I am not sure what you mean by tint your soft top?
wow dude... that's a ton of work. great video tho
Thanks alot bro!
Awesome!
Thanks for the support! Glad you enjoyed! #jeepwave
GTA JEEPS & 4X4 ACCESSORIES
🤙🏼
Do they sale one for the YJ Jeep?
Too much work!! I'm just going to duct-tape flash-lights to my mirrors :)
LOL that could work too! Thanks for watching!
LOL... Good Luck with that... :)
How do you wire the blinkers
will they work if you don't have electric mirror
What if I only want the indicator? Can I leave the other two wires tied off?
Thank you
Anytime! Thanks for watching!
Where did you get the LED turn signals, and the color changing LED lights inside the jeep.
Thanks for the comment! I have videos on both items on my channel but most parts you can find on my online store! www.adventuredexonline.com! thanks for watching!
my jeep is a 2010 door panel is diffrent and my mirrors are not powered or heated any suggestions yo make it work
Its the same process just the bolts on the door are in slightly different places. Thanks for watching!
Will the heat mirror work after this been installed?
Yes, everything get reconnected and works perfectly! Thanks for watching!
Did u Plastic dip your wheels ? Looks nice
Yes, thanks!!
You make really nice explanatory videos! I just wished you owned a JL 😁
What kind/gauge wire do you use to extend for the lighting
I usually stick to 14/16 G Thanks for watching!
@@adventuredexvideo shows a 10-12 …
Beating the shit out of it.. made my day!
WxGuy lol I was just gonna say the same. Not an easy installation I must say
+WxGuy LOL the right side was smooth as butter but the left of course it was a pain in the ass! Thanks for the support! #jeepwave
Am sure you could tackle this installation!
Great video Dex! Do you think the turn signals on the mirrors could be wired into the side markers so that they're constantly on like the turn signals over the wheel arches ?
Thanks for the comment Tim! You can essentially connect them to anything, however I wanted to have the same function as the turn signals so I connected them directly to the turn signals. Any power source will work tho! Thanks for watching!
(looking at the front) my right side indicator has two white wires one with green stripe and one with a brown.... my left had red and brown..
When you are unsure just use the process of elimination! Hope that helps!
Are you allowed to drive with these side mirror lights on? Or is it illegal just like the light bar
Depends on your local laws but I don’t recommend using these on road. Thanks for watching
Dex is right. They are bright as hell and mine come on with the headlights. I do this in Korea to harass the annoying rude taxi drivers but I do blind everyone else. I need to control these lights with a toggle switch.
Man I want these mirrors
Just installed… everything seems good except the indicators are just on the dont flash when I turn or emergency the just stay running and I made sure I hooked it up to the corresponding yellow wire on light harness
It's the red and white wire
How are those mirror lights holding up mate? Still happy with them?
+Marshmellafella Awesome, still work and look great!!
What size bolt and tool is needed?
Could you hook the side mirrors up to ur brights instead of the switch?
+Justin Manning Yes, they can be hooked up to any power source. Thanks for watching!
i have the same as yours but LED not lighting at all don't know what could be
I've also been looking at those headlights, are they DOT approved? Do they have a daytime or toggle-able light that isn't so bright, kinda like Halo's? I think I like that look better then the JW and halo style. I see a lot of people around town running those halos while parked, not sure that's a good idea haha.
Most LED's are for off-road use only. I wouldn't recommend running bright LED's on the road, it can be a hazard to on coming traffic. You can check out the range of LED headlights at www.adventuredexonline.com/shop thanks for watching!
I did not attach a string to the end of the mirror Any advice on how to feed it back thru
Damn Hector! Your supposed to watch the video in advance! LOL Use a snake tool to pull the wire back through. Hope that works! Thanks for watching!
Dex, do your power mirrors work with these lights?
Brent King the answer is yes
These are the sprites?
Would of love to see the full actual process from when you connected the negative forward // first time working on something like this and after seeing you skip half the steps (since you know what your doing ) lost me .. mine bring two switches
