  • Beautiful tribute. KG is a trip. The day Kobe died I had been watching his defensive highlights before my adult league game. When I got to the gym, we met at half court and prayed together and gave respect to Kobe and his daughter. It was a gym full of grown men, 35+ crying like children. It's weird to say you felt like you knew someone you'd never met but Kobe was like that. I remember when he came out of high school and followed his entire career. I even played against T-Mac in high school when he was with Mount Zion. Kobe and T-Mac were like brothers is how I viewed them. Big bro/Little bro. RIP Kobe.

    • Right after he passed we got to watch the last dance with MJ and Kobe at all star game and it showed Kobe talking about him telling everyone what we already guessed was when Kobe said he got so much advice from Michael Jordan and he doesn’t get those 5 rings without him! It gave me the chills hearing him admit it. So epic 🫡 to the biggest idol I’ve never met.

  • I can hear Kobe stories for 24/7 because nothing changes in-between his example of his dedication, his brotherhood, his humor, his will, and his sacrifice to just be the greatest he could be. All these great players were either next to Kobe, or played with him. And he was the same with everyone, and he’s created memories with them just like he did with us. Smile, anger, discipline all of it in one with Kobe. His journey was part of many’s childhood whether his rookie year or his last 5. RIP Kobe Bean Bryant and Gigi Bryant. 🕊️

Gave his daughter a chance to get inspired by a successful woman plus a chance to get familiar with interacting with basketball team owners. And gave Jeanie perspective and motivation for her grind, being a role model for young, aspiring women. Highlights once more the awareness and dedication with which Kobe approached life. • Great video I'm a life long Lakers fan and Kobe and Magic are my 2 favorite players ever. The day Kobe and Gigi died I broke down like a baby. Now being a Lakers fan in Utah early on especially the air ball game it was rough but when Kobe came of age it was a masterpiece of beauty and grace and heart and determination and failure and ultimately success. Damn Shaq I remember when Tex Winter suggested that diesel develop a 12ft to 17ft jump shot in that range add another level to his game Shaq blew him off leading to the tension between Kobe and Shaq. Imagine if Shaq would have had 15% of kobes heart and work ethic how many chips they would have won
