  • Only a very few of your interviews are even close to this one. This is what makes an interview that I’ll watch more than once. Remy is the kind! Wolf and his mountain lion story is equal.

  • I love Cam but Remi is my favorite hunter. Solo Hntr was the best of all the hunting shows and I was stoked for every meat eater episode that Remi was on. If I could hunt with anyone in the world, it would be with Remi. Great pod!

  • Right on, Remi! A fellow Renoite. Great episode. I've watched a lot of Remi's videos and I feel like he talked a lot more about his strategies being interviewed by Cam and Cam obviously shines talking mainly hunting with a hunter of this caliber.

  • Cam-what do you consider a difficult hunt? Remi looks at cam like dude what😂. Hahaha cam is a legend and great compound hunter but i feel like remi is a beast in every way. Rifle, muzzleloader, compound and recurve and will be successful in units with hardly any animal's that hes never been to. Thats a freaking extremly difficult task.

  • Cam and Remi have worked crazy hard to accomplish everything they have and to obtain the opportunities that they have before them in life. But to say that they were both disingenuous throughout this pod is putting it mildly. You start out by talking about not caring about size or inches or measurements. Then why keep talking about giants and big bucks and “217 inches”??? Then you want to throw off on the guys who are doing it now that have all of the tech that’s available, saying you had it way harder because you didn’t have a phone or gps or things like that. Remi claiming he didn’t even take a compass. Ok, fair enough but unless you’re going to go out there dressed in nothing but clothes you’ve made from the skins of animals that you’ve killed using only a stick that you cut and shaped and strung and then an arrow that you carves down with a broad head made from a rock that you dug out of the ground and then shaped with nothing but other rock then why talk about what folks have now compared to what you didn’t? When you started you had unforeseen advantages over 99% of hunters throughout human history to that point. Then Cam starts complaining about feeling disrespected because western hunting didn’t get any love back when he started versus Easter and southern hunting and how that’s not “real hunting”. Well then why not stop talking about it and come try it dude? Nobody was disrespecting anything because nobody gave that many f**ks about it. It was 100% business because Easter/southern whitetail hunting is 70% plus of the hunting market and the choices that were made were made to make as much money as possible. That’s something you should know a lot about considering you aligned yourself with UA to create and entire new line of product for their brand that had your name all over it as well as doing the same with Hyot, possibly the number two bow brand in the world, third at worst. And I’ve also heard you speak on before about wondering why your checks were so small, I think it was with UA, when you could clearly see that the company was making a shit ton more than that, which I do not blame you for. I’m a huge fan and am not going to stop listening to the pod because I think it’s great and I like, as you say, hearing the stories but maybe think about it and be more honest and genuine in some of the stuff you talk about.

    • Just my POV here, but I don’t think they really trashed or attacked anyone. I think it was two guys reminiscing about shared experiences and looking back on “the good old days” when they were just trying to figure it out on their own - and over a career they built the resources they wished they had.
