Has Ponga ever played a full season for the Knights in the last 5 years? He is talented, but too expensive & injured too often.
don’t think so he had missed a lot of games previously koz of his head knocks he kept getting

The knights are a better team without Ponga.
The rest of the team really need to shape up now, it’s ridiculous having to just rely on one player… a professional team who week in week out look like they just aren’t interested unless ponga does the work. There is no line speed, no intensity in defence, no signs of intent in that knights team
Bad coaching. 13 players to win a game, not won. Have a game plan that involves the whole team, to score points
Without ponga the knight's are like a ship without a rudder.
Rest of the season its simple.
If your team is relying on 1 player to win you games etc then the knights ain't got a very healthy future

I don't get all the hype around Ponga, his a good player but worth maybe 50% of his price tag. Knights will still be fine if Best, Frizell, Crosswell and Cogger play well and the teams defend well. Dom Young was quite a loss for them. They could get some better players if the board didn't idolize Ponga and pay him a ridiculous amount.

And for 1.5M a season what are you smoking, there is a reason Knights have been so poor since signing him, only last season they did alright and that was because of Young and Best scored half their tries. Ponga defensively is also terrible.

Why was he left out on the field so long?The coach should be sacked,he’s been there long enough and has done very little for the club.
Recruited poorly around Ponga, hard when your paying one player 1.5 million but they could have done better.
Problem is the Knights are spending overs on blokes such as Saifiti brothers, Elliott, Hetherington and Will Pryce who hasn't played a game of NRL.

Knights supporter and I’ve never seen Ponga as a player worth the money he is on.. when was the last time he played a full season?
I like what Gus has been saying this week about Origin selections: “Only 5% of players are so good that their state is decidedly weaker without them”. I feel he might be exaggerating a little, but I do reckon fans like me sometimes get too stressed about every little Origin option.

There is no hope for Knights with Ponga, not to mention without him. But and the biggest but is that Ponga is well overrated and overpaid. Instead of spending so much money on him, maybe they could have kept Dominic Young. He is the reason they were in the finals last year, not Ponga.
