After the apple joke, I was trying to think of what would be next... never would have guessed an Eggs-Box 360! RIP LEGEND
I died at eggs box XD
+Real Growtopia Not quite....
Ive watched this over 100 times now and it gets me everytime! ... EGGS BOX £3.60 .... LMAO
The weakest " joke " in the sketch and you find it the most funny??
Clive Bindley not the weakest joke at all I found that the most hilarious as well.
I love it how Enfield can hardly control himself from laughing outloud
vacantplanet Especially at the dongle bit XD
is that harry enfield?
My blackberry not in good shape
@@slybunda Yes
The writing is eggsellent. The ghosting is even funnier.
You can tell it's an old apple because it's only got one core.
🤭😂👏🏻👏🏻
Nice 👍😂
😂😂😂😂
And only holds 1 megabite
LOL!!!!! Nice one, my son!
The eggsbox 360 caught me offguard😂😂😂...

Instant classic. British humour is unmatched.
ThelemicMagick If you mean unmatched at being unfunny then yes, this particular sketch is unmatched. Bad puns are not funny.
+Howard Casto i need to agreed with this gentlemen's, your taste is not that advanced enough to enjoy this funny and well made material.
+ThelemicMagick This isn't british humor. It's british people using humor.
+TheBigMclargehuge No, it is definitely British humour ;) albeit only one type of it.
I absolutely love a lot of “British humour” but its tiring see the amount of people who try to seem intellectually superior by announcing how much they appreciate it over anything else. This sketch is actually pretty formulaic and tired, just enjoy it if you enjoy it but dont decree it as the best ever just because it reminds you of ‘Four Candles’
"Let me put that date in my diary" This whole sketch was genius!
I highly applaud Harry Enfield in this sketch. Although he barely manages to keep his face straight, he and Ronnie really sell this 3 minute gag and you genuinely believe that this could have been in the two ronnies repertoire.
At 01:53 Harry Enfield is struggling hard not to laugh, knowing that he is going to ask, " And, how big is your dongle?" I spent 20 years in England starting in 1956 and believe me the Two Ronnies kept me appreciating the British humor including that of Tommy Cooper and a few others who showed that comedy could be kept clean and not so offensive.
See, you don't have to swear to be funny. Another great talent gone forever. R.I.P. Ronnie Corbett..
They didn't swear, but it was a bit fruity!
Who said you did
@@welshwizzard8209 Is that a Welsh questio? (Oops! Forgot to add the last characte!)
He did say dongle.
@@cyclingseagull Even the Bar of Soap says "dongle" these days (but in Latin).
Harry Enfield struggling not to laugh. Now that's a sign of endearment. What a legend. And it's goodnight from him. 😢❤️🕯🕯🕯🕯
He's not dead, the other guy is
@@riddlemethis2610 Ronnie Corbett
TWO GREAT TALENTS WHO MAKE YOU LAUGH JUST SEEING THEM ! 😁👍
TWO GREATS WORKING TOGETHER....... WHAT A RIOT ! 👍🏿😁
This is on par as a classic with “Four Candles”! Harry Enfield’s dialogue and timing is perfect.
Nooooo! Its Fork Handles! 🤣🤣🤣
Handles for forks.
Got any plugs?
Love this. You can tell that they're having a really hard time not cracking up, especially when they get to the "dongles".
Great to see that humor can still be created in a clean, cleverly presented format.
@Shabda Sound I'd say that it was your mind that is the unclean issue. This sketch was well written and simply made fun of the names/processes of some brands - a little old fashioned 'tongue in cheek' light hearted humor. Sad that your mind went in that direction rather than appreciate the dry wit. I hope it didn't 'hurt your feelings' or cause you discomfort.
@Shabda Sound Well, since a dongle is a plug in computer interface and one requires the correct sized version to carry out the specific task the question is How are you so dirty minded that you had to leap to the thought line your tiny mind did? Since no foul language or crude phraseology was used the dirtiness is only inferred by the watcher.
the cleaness of humour is not a positive thing. all that matters: is it funny.
And it's good night from him. RIP Ronnie, you made the world just that little bit brighter.
@Alan Cogan Why would 'andles for forks make the world brighter?
@Alan Cogan I honestly can't tell if you're joking.
A true gentle man.
What an absolute privilege for Harry to work with this legend. Great comedy that alot of us miss.
The lost art of humour with innuendo without being vulgar, the brits are masters at it. Just my humble opinion.
Dommage que je ne comprenne pas, j adore l humour Anglais. 🇨🇵👍🇬🇧
Blackberry and apple, what else could they possibly pull out? An eggsbox! Damn I really did not see that coming! Brilliant and so funny!
They left out the Apricot and the Cherry.
And spice.
If they were to do the sketch today they could include a raspberry pie
A Macintosh apple...
How is this funny. Anyone could write this crap
RIP Ronnie Corbett.
le reddit armie has arrived!
we are doing this for a gang show
I suppose it's because spend so much time you know where do
Mr soft Cockney rebels

Seen this sketch so many times, never gets old. A fitting tribute to an amazing talent.
It might be time to do a sequel...with cookies, raspberry pi, wife-eye and few more twists!
Python, cloud......just remember to give me writing credits please!
This IS a sequel.
@@DerekHartley Yes, we could also get a SQL gag in there too.
@@jpswerve182 no bruv you only contributed cloud and how are they gonna use python in a pun? And you literally asking for writing credits?!
R.I.P Ronnie Corbett, I remember watching this - christmas day 2011 and it made me laugh so much just like the Two Ronnie sketches did. You will be missed by everyone.
I cried when he died. Did i make a rhyme?
+Sugarella not really
Yes, you made a rhyme just in time, but do not worry , it's not a crime.
It was actually Christmas 2010. Unless it was a repeat you watched.
@Jack Sparrow 2010.
RIP Ronnie Corbett (1930-2016). A legend in the comedy world, you will be sorely missed.
Lol this appeared in my recommendation at same time where they're going to shut down blackberry phones.
Absolutely love these sketches pure innocent jokes but utterly hilarious
Harry can barely keep it together 😂
The apple crashed because he booted it through Windows.
golden comment
Yep he needs to boot it on a mac
@@tommillard4193 mac(aroni) 😂😂
Windows will do that even if it wasn't an apple...
Its a pane when that happens. Was the apple a duo-core?
Harry Enfield just about managed not to corpse during the dongle bit. 😂😂😂
It was a fake laugh, it was to prompt the audience to laugh that’s all.
Hilarious clip 😄 that dongle part 🤣 I'm Dutch and I love this kind of humour! RIP Ronnie
Back in the day, my mum was involved working with barker and his creative team. The brainstorming sessions would go on into the small wee hours with everyone in fits of hilarity. No alcohol required. Nice to watch this scene which I'd never seen before, I imagine Ronnie B would have approved. Though, had he been around to write it, I'm sure it would have been legendary. (And that's no discredit to Matt Lucas and David Walliams for creating this version)
Another legend gone!!! R.I.P. Ronnie. You brought so much laughter to this dismal world!
How can anyone give this the thumbs down, its classic British humour, the best...
It will be techno nerds who don't like the Mickie being taken out of their jargon!!
youtube overlords have corrected that and removed all downvotes because feelings
Now you can sleep well, dislikes are hidden.
No. The 'Classic' British humor was the original 'Four Candles' version. Which worked because every item being discussed was something that people genuinely asked for in a hardware shop. This doesn't compare at all because it's ridiculous.
@@hellfirepictures No, that is not correct, You're assuming that everyone who watch the "four candles sketch" is familiar with British hardware shops - and most of the world does not understand most of those typical British references. It's quite a difference to e.g. Monty Python or Fawlty Towers - those have a universal humor you don't have to be a Brit to understand (and laugh at).
One of Ronnie Corbett’s best skits. Great to view it again. Wonderful play on words.
After all these years and multiple times of watching this will always be hilarious to watch. R.I.P ronnie
eggs box 3.60 a masterpiece!
🤣
Lol
The Eggsbox 1.00 is better :)
Love how Harry Enfield nearly cracks up at times
Harry Enfield corpsing, almost repeatedly, just adds to the charm and humour of the sketch. Normally, it would've been a case of doing another take.
" Give me a date...certainly...let me put that date in my diary" 🤣 " You could try using a mouse drag the Blackberry to the trash "
Ronnie Corbett and Harry Enfield doing a modern take on a Two Ronnies classic. Fantastic stuff.
R.I.P Funny Man, small in stature large in laughter, loved the show.
And the punchline was right in front of us! Brilliant simple comedy/parody at its best.
Pure. Comedy. Gold. A modern date version, in this sketch anyway, of the classic pairing of The Two Ronnies. Different eras providing different, but great comedy.
There's definitely a bit of the old comedy magic of Barker-Corbett here. RIP Messrs Ronnie and Ronnie - sadly missed.
Ronnie Corbett - Total Legend. He will be missed by LOTS of people. RIP
British humor alllll the wayyyy
True but they had me at blackberry! #TeamBlackberry
+Soren Spitama I were going to say the same, bad, easy and british humor xDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
What a classic this will be become. I love the part where Harry is trying to keep his face straight. 🤣🤣
It does show how much work went into 2R's sketches & how hard it is to keep a straight face. So cleaver.
One of my favorite British comedians! How sad! :( Rest in peace!
Eggsbox... £3.60
Bob Samuri That sounds a bit expensive, and that is just for the box ;) No eggs included.
+serrie85 blimey is your eggsbox £3.60 not working, we've had a new one in since then eggsbox £1.00 :P

Loving tribute to one of the greatest sketches ever. I bet every comedian wanted to work with Ronnie Corbett.
Great sketch, RIP Ronnie.

This is so classic British comedy, love this type of comedy and the British comedy from the 60's 70's and 80's
Genius. A very intelligent pastiche of his own sketch 20 years on and brilliantly repurposed.
Right up there with four candles. Brilliant stuff :)

Oh well why didn't you say?
I didn't wanna ruin the joke in case anyone hadn't been blessed with the education my dad provided me :)
Oh dear, in the sketch Ronnie Corbett says " Oh well why didn't you say? "
I love how the shopkeep is trying so hard not to lose his shit :D
I missed that.....I thought he was trying not to laugh.
Would have been funnier if he was Greek. "Hallo everybody peeps".

Few have made me laugh more than the two Ronnies. I miss them from my childhood. Absolutely hilarious.
1:50 Watching them trying hard not to laugh at their own jokes is the best part of this.
A sketch so clever it deserves a PHD, probably one of the best sketches I’ve ever seen, written and executed perfectly.
Pretty Huge Dongle?
You mean skit?
As soon as the word DONGLE is mentioned Harry does his very best not to break character ( but, a, little smerk shows) & yet another shows when Ronnie says my Mrs has seen quite a few in her time. Harry is on the point of bursting out. A brilliant sketch well acted out ❤💕it
A fine follow up to four candles. Gerald Wiley would be proud.
Good bye, Ronnie Corbett. You were brilliant!
Eggbox killed me. I didn't see that coming.😂

😂😂😂 Yes laughter is good for the soul! British comedy is so wickedly the best 😊.
This has to be one of, if not the, greatest sketch of all time. You don’t get comedy like this anymore.
Its a homage to fork handles.
great humour .Ronnie barker wrote a lot like this. 4 candles springs to mind.😁
That's the point. It's a tribute to the original sketch you mentioned.
Brilliant sketch...perfectly written and fantastically acted by both Enfield and Corbett!
This really does feel like a Two Ronnies sketch for the modern day. Good job Ronnie!

It's quite remarkable how many food based puns they could come up with for consumer electronics.
Just heard today of the very sad death of Ronnie Corbett (31 March). Thanks for all the laughs Ronnie - God bless you!
This is the last stint Ronnie Corbett did before his passing. I can't believe he has passed. Life isn't the same without them. RIP.
