And to top it off, my sibling is a registered nurse, and agrees with my elder parent. So me and the rest of the family are all wrong about her cognitive decline. And it’s torn our family apart. -You're right. Because I've seen him in interviews from the 80s through to before he announced his 1st run for the presidency, AND, he was sane. None of the craziness we've seen since his presidential run, up to now.
He wasn't doing well (and that's speaking kindly), but he seemed to nosedive after contracting covid, and that was apparent in the intense denial and paranoia surrounding the pandemic.
There is video of Trump testifying before the House in 1991. He has always been an idiot, but there was clear cognitive decline between then and 2016--and even more now. The contraction of his vocabulary has been profound.

@@xander9564Even then, he really speaks good enough for me and I don't see any issues. I don't know why this video is trying to over exaggerate his speech, and frame him for being incompetent. From what I have seen, Biden seems to be slower, and his physical abilities especially. Saw a video of Biden and Trump side by side on the screen, showing that Biden was walking really slow and needed someone to hold him, while Trump was walking at a normal pace and did not need someone to hold him. Additionally, his hair color is blonde and Biden's hair is white. I don't know why the left is trying very hard to spread misinformation and over exaggerate things, but it seems to be their status quo from now on. I am saying this as an independent. I don't care if someone is on one side or not. But when misinformation is spread, that is a problem, and it appears here that is. Instead of bash talking on each other, we should unite and quit being so divided. Make compromises instead and hear one other out, because if we don't, then we won't see anything getting done to combat the issues people are facing.

I am more concerned over policies, fit for the job, and track record, which will influence many voters decision in the upcoming election.
I hope he does well, I need him to be competent to stand trial and imprisoned when he is found guilty.
