  • Did they ever try to barrel roll the Comet in any of its iterations? Because the pilot responsible for demonstrating the 707 for investors and the big bosses, did just that.

  • It would be helpful to mute the narration on the original footage when adding your own. It's really distracting to hear the other narration under the one I'm trying to listen to.

    • Go out and look for funding to start your own production company, hire researchers, gather old news footage and media releases, hire a production team and editor......make your own videos then upload them to social media and hope idiots like you don't complain about such trivial matters as you did.

  • You refer to the Vickers Viscount, yet.....Not a single picture of the Viscount can be seen in this production. Lots of pictures of the Brittania and the Vanguard but non of the Viscount. Or perhapse I missed something ?

  • this was back when private companies were dumb enough to dump a majority of their profits back into consumer safety, R&D and the company in general, rather than just CEO pay raises and corner cutting like they do now.

  • This video got me thinking it's More of a space thing really but I think it fits here. This whole thing with engines not going quick enough. And with people officially crying outheories that. Once were in the domain of science faction? I think there may be on a correct course, but they still have it wrong. I think you should use the third way possible of movement ,and not move yourself but the whole of space and time around you. I think only then real choice becomes possible within a block Universe.. And real travel. But that's just me I guess

    • He didn’t design anything..He only applied for a patent for a flawed design that didn’t work. German Me 262 was the first operational jet fighter powered by axial flow jet engine a whole generation ahead of Whittle's centrifugal design . German Heinkel 178 flew in 1939 two years before Whittle ...
