Been visiting since 1967 and still HAVEN'T seen it all.
Visiting since 1984 and still come across amazed at different things. It's quite an amusement.

What an amazing metropolis, Central Park in the middle of it all is also fantastic.

What city is this?
People who never been to Manhattan on foot will never actually know how tall and huge all of those buildings are, avenue after avenue, and experience the local feeling businesses and people of new york surrounded by huge buildings. And in the winter its so cold and windy but fresh and emotional.

You always have to look up. People don't realize the buildings lining central park are 9-15 stories tall.
I was there a month ago we walked a lot . Just to explore around it is amazing . Those building are so tall . A very busy city

@@DocMicrowave If you're talking about central park street and billionaires row then that's a definite yes. 35 minimum and 140 maximum (Nordstrom tower which is around 84 stories but that equals out to 140)
I really love NYC. Went there for two fortnights in '89 and '91 with my dad. Besides Manhattan we went to Staten Island, The Bronx and Brooklyn too. So many good memories of the places we saw and the moments we shared and enjoyed. I'm 57 now, my dad passed in '97. I'll cherish those trips for the rest of my life.

@@paulvanhoevelaak619 My dad was brought up in New Jersey and he loved New York, I just know he would have had so many great stories to tell me about it but he passed before I was old enough and could ask him. Last time I went in 2017 I often wondered if I stood in any of the same places he did.

I love seeing all the new skyscrapers being built. NYC's skyline has changed dramatically since 2012
they can build skyscrapers fast but cant fix the garbage problem. Make trash can underground like European countries. No more rats problem
NYC will be underwater by 2050. Rising sea level and global warming.

Wow !! That was beautifully filmed. I haven't been to the Big Apple since 1983. And now having seen it from a helicopter, things have changed so much in the last 40 years that I don't even recognize it. What an amazing metropolis.

New york is such a big and beautiful city. I travelled new york for 20days but I haven't been to all the places I wanted to go.😂 I hope can go this city again soon!

The Empire State building was once the domineering center of midtown Manhattan. It is now dwarfed by a number of new buildings. The city continues to reshape and redefine itself, amazing!!!
It is the same city, it is just looks different. I think you don't know what "redefine" means.
the new tower is beautiful, but it is undeniable that the old towers had everything to do with the city's landscape, unforgettable.

@@LaVaZ000 Most of the people did. It was boring and uninspiring and it was a pain in the ass because of the asbestos. It needed 1.6 billion to remove all of the asbestos from the building. 800 million / building.

Wow, what a visual feast. Great footage of a truly remarkable city. There is nowhere quite like New York. I think that by area, it's the worlds largest city. I'm measuring the entire tri state urban area. Tokyo is the biggest by population.
