  • People who never been to Manhattan on foot will never actually know how tall and huge all of those buildings are, avenue after avenue, and experience the local feeling businesses and people of new york surrounded by huge buildings. And in the winter its so cold and windy but fresh and emotional.

  • I really love NYC. Went there for two fortnights in '89 and '91 with my dad. Besides Manhattan we went to Staten Island, The Bronx and Brooklyn too. So many good memories of the places we saw and the moments we shared and enjoyed. I'm 57 now, my dad passed in '97. I'll cherish those trips for the rest of my life.

Last time I went in 2017 I often wondered if I stood in any of the same places he did.

  • The Empire State building was once the domineering center of midtown Manhattan. It is now dwarfed by a number of new buildings. The city continues to reshape and redefine itself, amazing!!!

  • Wow, what a visual feast. Great footage of a truly remarkable city. There is nowhere quite like New York. I think that by area, it's the worlds largest city. I'm measuring the entire tri state urban area. Tokyo is the biggest by population.

  • It's been really cool to live through the latest New York building boom. Seeing skyscrapers spreading to Brooklyn, Queens, and Jersey City has been interesting.
