    • @@stephenchaiser5082he was already strong. We saw him go ham vs mastermold where he was freely swapping into omega red, sasquatch for their abilities. An upgrade makes him an instant fix for any situation. The whole series we'd just be asking for why he isn't swapping into Zeus or Hulk or Apocolypse or Gladiator and insta gib whatever problem they have. He's the team replacement for Jubilee, whos voice actress didn't return for the series. He will be roughly as useful as she was. I believe thats why we don't see her here...at all. I could be wrong though.

The beautiful hand drawn backgrounds which at the time were under huge budget constrains still looked better than anything in this trailer which was just a whole lot of white space. • [0:14] *_"Heads up!"_** --* Definitely liked Rogue throwing the Sentinels into each other, first torso and then head; that is good combat tactics, using/turning your enemies' numbers and size(s) against them. Likewise, Rogue's pro-wrestler attack of clothes-lining (or was it leg-dropping? it goes by so quick) the other Sentinel is both cool and badass. All done with a confident smile. *:)* In animation and comics, Rogue shines best when depicted in her (semi-)traditional role as the _'Powerhouse'_ character/team-member.

  • “For me, the word ‘nonbinary’ is the same as the word ‘shapeshifter,’” director Larry Houston told Variety. “Every character that can change from one gender to another, or from human to animal, that’s just another word for ‘shapeshifter’ for me.” Has Morph Always Been Nonbinary? Eric Lewald, a co-creator and showrunner for X-Men: The Animated Series, also explained how Morph had morphed into both men and women in the original show. After the character's "death" in the first season, he later returned hoping to seek revenge against the X-Men. To fool different members of the group, Morph transformed into characters like Rogue, Storm, and Jean Grey. As far as Lewald sees it, this would suggest that Morph has been nonbinary all along, even if that wasn't stated outright in the 90s cartoon. “He attacks Wolverine, his closest friend, in the most dramatic way by turning into Jean Grey and putting his hand on Wolverine’s neck and leaning in for a kiss," Lewald explained. "That’s as nonbinary as you can get. It’s Morph turning into a woman and coming onto Wolverine to freak him out. It was all there in Morph’s character. Now it’s become such a social thing that I think people will be more sensitive to how it’s used. That’s the only difference. We didn’t see a problem in reading him and didn’t feel he was any different.” Julia Lewald, another co-creator of the series, also suggested that the backlash against Morph in X-Men '97 would be coming from people who missed the message that had been sent by the original show. “Did we teach you people nothing? Were you not watching?” as Lewald put it. “Did we not figure out how to be nice to each other and how to get along? It’s very odd to feel like we are still dealing with the same issues that we were dealing with 30 years ago. It’s painful.” Rogue voice actor Lenore Zann added, "That message needs to be spread throughout the world right now. I hope we can bring hope to people and to children so they can look to the future and go, ‘I have a place in this world. I belong, and it’s OK to be different.’”

    • I agree with you. Nothing like old one. It looks off due to these ::: 1. scene changes happen too frequently like in 2 second. Make it feel like Too fast paced. They should have different scene change durations to have better story telling. Not randomly rendering 2 second of how each character hit to a sentinel and putting in sequencer and adding theme song without much changing pace of scenes according to song except near ending. 2. Music and scenes dont fit well due to fast scene change duration. 3. Art style is lazy undetailed which ruin all (no need to mention) Sentinel look like a toy with a funny teeth and funny face than a real metal like plastic 4. Chaotic fight scene rather than dramatic and emphasisful with a meaning like old one. Xmen was never about showing chaotic realistic fight scenes. 5. Smooth animation? More like boring due to monotonous smoothness caused by 3d ? Because 3d make it too smooth and lack artistic changes in proportions to make things look more striking 4.5) harmonous camera angles and cinematography= None, it feel like random clips and showing everyone from far with 3d cam rather than making u feel inside that event . 6. Voice actors are not supervised well to talk like before. 7. Unnecessary creativity= beast controlling sentinel by holding some wires. This is not a car. Its high tech… 8. Sound design and feeling of punchs and falls and immediate damage doesnt feel striking or invisible sometimes. You cant feel how wolverines claw pierce sentinel (ex: it doesnt even change surface of sentinel because its 3d and they were lazy to add scratch or make hole on it. ) …. ….
