  • Dee's voice is the great combination of taking care of ones body and abstaining from alcohol/smoking/drugs so there's no real damage to his throat or vocal chords that a lot of singer's back them end up having at this age, he's not out of breath either for the same reason. He looks absolutely amazing here and I hope he continues having a great long life.

Some of the audience screaming and chanting wasn't even born when TS and Helloween were on the top of their success. What a distinction for Dee, Michael et al ... It's a testimonial for their songs being truly classic and to many of us unforgettable.

This is our life, this is our song. We'll fight the powers that be just, don't pick our destiny, 'cause you don't know us, you don't belong. We're not gonna take it. No, we ain't gonna take it. We're not gonna take it anymore Oh, you're so condescending. Your gall is never ending. We don't want nothin', not a thing from you. Your life is trite and jaded, boring and confuscated. If that's your best, your best won't do! Whoa... Whoa... We're right - yeah We're free - yeah We'll fight - yeah You'll see - yeah Oh, we're not gonna take it. No, we ain't gonna take it. We're not gonna take it anymore. We're not gonna take it. No, we ain't gonna take it Oh, we're not gonna take it anymore NO WAY! [Bridge and solo] Whoa... Whoa... We're right - yeah We're free - yeah We'll fight - yeah You'll see - yeah We're not gonna take it. No, we ain't gonna take it. We're not gonna take it anymore. We're not gonna take it. No, we ain't gonna take it. We're not gonna take it anymore. [just you try and make us] We're not gonna take it. [come on] No, we ain't gonna take it. [you're all worthless and weak] We're not gonna take it anymore. [now drop and give me twenty] We're not gonna take it. [A Pledge pin] No, we ain't gonna take it. [On your uniform] We're not gonna take it anymore.

  • I got to meet him in 2004 in Valdosta, GA. Twisted Sister did a free set for a 4th of July show in town at a book store. On the other side of the parking lot was a free wrestling show. I just happened to know a few of the guys who were wrestling. Later that night me and some of the wrestlers were at a bar drinking and Dee spotted Ray Loyd, aka Glacier from WCW. He came over to our table and talked to us for a few minutes, took pictures, shook our hands, then dropped $100 bill on the table and said he’s got our tab for the night. He is a very cool dude.

  • I was at Wacken and honestly, no joke, this was the best show at the entire festival. Dee Snider is a true frontman, just an awesome beastly dude... That's how you fucking rock! =) He was funny as shit too. Went to see this without any expectations; I didn't know it was going to be a procession of famous rock and metal singers doing their greatest hits backed by an orchestra... I mean what a great idea. xD Really felt like we were in the heartland of rock at this show! \m/ Nice to see Beyond the Black backed this way as well; they were killing it!
