I'm not liking this mode so far. It's fucking ridiculously and needlessly complex. They got all this extra bullshit going on. I just want a round-based mode where I can kill zombies and upgrade guns and have fun

Do I need to upgrade base weapon to level 1 pap or can I go from base to level 2 or 3 pap?

Yeah you need to pay for each pap legal. But you can go to the zone 2 pack a punch use that to upgrade your gun to level one as well as level 2

I know how all the pack a punch works I just can never make it into zone 3 to machine to see how much it cost I need to know how much it cost

No, you lose upgrades on guns when you exfil. If you get the upgrade and keep it in your rucksack, the tool or raw aetherium that carries over. So you can start the next match with a tool upgrade and pack a punch upgrade in your rucksack ready to go
