I don’t think he mentioned it in the whole video.. but the gun has a hidden perk, it slows enemys you shoot with it.. that’s why all the zombies go in slow motion when he shoots them.. that’s it’s special ability which.. might… be.. helpful in red zone lol
A base lvl grenade launcher does more and that's just sad
With how many it slows, that could be clutch in Tier 3 as a secondary.

Every zombie gets slowed by it. It even slowed the abomination
No kidding might actually let you create some space so your can move around a bit in teir 3
Like a few others stated, it's a total beast at squad support. Slowing the zombies while others shoot. You effect several at once, and just by doing 1 damage to the zombies you still get credit. Not too mention nearly unlimited range, and it will stop enemy vehicles in one shot. Solo weapon? Nah. But it's epic in a squad in tier 3
I made the mistake of using it for the first time solo and I died a good 3 or 4 times 😅 it's very clearly meant to be anti vehicle in warzone, in zombies it's meh for support crowd control cuz I can see maybe as support for a team that isn't used to red zone, maybe? But under normal circumstances everyone in a team going into high threat zone is at least used to red zone and can hold their own so there's no point in slowing zombies for them unless you're helping someone camo grind(?), but then again I went in solo with it and it saved me from dying in the red zone cuz I died and lost staminup, but I don't think that really redeems it as it was the cause of my death there in the first place 😂
The tho is squad support...this gun is garbage.... And not needed
If I'm your squadmate I'd rather you run DG3 or just RGL to help me out. Why slow them if you can actually kill them?
For the people still thinking this is pointless, it really helps with Tier 3 zones and bosses, especially the mega abomination. Creating some space between your team and the zombies is really useful since getting swamped by a horde of zombies and hounds is consistent.
@@SneakyBoi__ you can use a rgl to clean up those minions, that will help even more.
this is 100% supposed to be used as a support weapon. i have a felling that is probably really good against specials especially since mimics and manglers can run super fast
It's great. I got fucked by the mega abomination but it carried me through the tier 2 story mission until the abomination

The fact that you didn't mention it's biggest benefit is mind blowing. Slowing down enemies by a large margin.
We did talk about this but not sure it made it in the cut for the video. This effect is pretty good for taking screenshots and thumbnails for zombies. However this is something that is only going to really help content creators.
It slows down everything except HVTs. Haven’t tested it on the worm, but it does slow the Stormcaller. Also makes Megabombs way less risky since they move at 1/2 to 1/3 speed.
@LegoUnlocked are you genuinely slow? It's a SUPPORT weapon. Like, when used in a squad it can slow them down so they don't die?
Most other weapons can kill more zombies and do it way faster than this can slow zombies. Using this as a "Support" weapon would put more teammates at risk than it would help. Great for slowing down zombies for pictures but very bad for supporting teamates. Unless the task at hand required you to NOT kill the zombies at all. I can't think of many situations were this is needed.
@@LegoUnlocked It will slow them just as much in dark aether. Could give an ally the space to revive a player. But it's available in zombies because it's available in mp. In MP, you use it to turn off killstreaks. stun them, disable them, etc. That they transferred that to zombies by giving it utility is good to me, but consider an infinite ammo aoe slowing gun that also shreds zombies? It'd get nerfed the next day.
Use the Stormender's first shot to hit an enemy in Tier 1, it slows them down and takes away their melee ability, then melee the Zombie. Stormender's blast radius and range is actually pretty good when its Pack-a-Punched.
This gun is a long ranged weapon, it has 80m effective range and 100% accurate hipfire. Within 80m everything in the line of muzzle will take damage, and the line is like 5m in width. In MP it kills UAV and AUAV in 1 shot, takes around 10 shot to shoot down a chopper/vtol but it stuns the target it shoots (yeah so vtol is useless now bcuz it won't shoot if someone is actively shooting it with emp launcher), sadly it doesn't in mwz.
It still slows zombies tho
It's actual range is 430 meters, when you fire the gun, you can actually ping it's projectile and see how fast and far it travels.

Mp takes two shots for uavs, cuavs
I was using Lockwood 680 shotgun with pack 3 and this weapon pack 3 (both legendary upgraded) and absolutely shredded red zone solo. That slow effect helps so much, especially with the hounds and fast chasing zombies. Even better in squad play, using it doing contracts in red zone makes it much easier. Definitely recommend!
With it's slowing it can def help in missions and as long as user keeps holding trigger after any pap, squad can easily run away from hordes they don't want
This Gun is a Great Support gun. Slows zombies down has a wide long distance spread so once packed it just can clear zombies pretty fast. infinite ammo and auto. yes it sucks against bosses but like a said if used as support in a squad it makes surviving the tier 3 a lot easier.
I had fun using it in tier one contracts because it’s basically an afk machine if you’re in a spot that zombies can only get to you one way. It can’t be too busted since it has infinite ammo and a long range. But I had fun while using it
This can be op if you use it with a friend, you could basically get a friend to stun them from you and you can take all the zombies out
Might be pretty good to use in the new zone to slow the zombies and have your team killing them off
Knew already it wasn't gonna be good. It's an anti equipment launcher that shoots emp so it's got no lethality at all to it, even SHG mentioned that in the blog before this season was released.
But I mean come on a mangler is legit a mech it'd be so cool if it instantly broke its armor or even disabled it's canon even if it was bad against zombies it would give it utility
True, but this is MWZ, why not have some fun with it? Maybe they could add a visual explosive effect when you pack-a-punch it and then make it comparable to the grenade launcher so newbies don't get it confused as something to use for lethality in PVP and it's like it is now until you level it up
Sure that makes sense for the unupgraded gun, and it's good that it normally isn't effective as a weapon. But pack-a-punching is already sci-fi magic nonsense, it would've been cool to see it become like a lethal pulse blaster or something.
Then why do you have to get kills to get camos?
Its called storm ender. Maybe it's for storm caller. Probably doesn't do much damage but it allows you to kill him easily while stunned

This launchers let's you stroll through aether nests and infected strongholds like no tomorrow. He left out the special ability is slowing down zombies just like cryo freeze. Yes, slowing isn't killing, but 1 of the reasons people get down in tier 3 is that zombies run faster than even with stamina up. This launcher makes outlasts and weapon stashes easier to complete since you hsve to stay in a certain area. Use this to get assist essence from teammates killing them. Lastly use when zombies are trying to attack a teammate reviving another one. Slowing zombies down helps you stay alive more often or longer periods of time.
Exactly! It's good at what it does, it's just not supposed to be used as a main weapon
They missed the opportunity to change the type of ammo it fires like the D.I.E from Cold War with ammo mods
Especially since I don't think ammo mods ever trigger since there are no physical bullets to carry that effect. It does the damage type, you can see the lightning bolt bonus damage when it attacks a Disciple, but it never has the effect.

With the jokr you could lure a horde of zombies indoors and send shots into the ceiling to skip the long arching path the rocket usually takes. With this thing it'll take you 10 minutes to kill a medium sized group of T2 zombies unless you dump a bunch of resources into upgrading it.

id argue the jokr but i feel jokr has exploits that allow for faster killing than the emp launcher.
@@markbailey8977 i'd only say the JOKR because the only thing that makes that gun usable is being able to use it indoors. otherwise, that thing is garbo and lives far underneath the Stormender.
They should make it almost like the thunder gun where it just knocks them out would make it a bit better.
I think I know a good use for that gun Lego.. For the missions where you have to put an ammo mod on the gun and effect zombies or bosses.. like the mission to use turned/brain rot on zombies, because there's less chance of killing the zombies while trying to get the ammo effect to go active.. but other than that it's not good..👍
Packing it, the fire rate increases, is a big cylinder of damage and slowing (plus the range is pretty damn long after the packing, potentially line of sight). A big downside of the weapon is that the ammo mods only work to deal additional damage to those weak to it, on top of it only really being a T1 weapon for kills. Does ignore armor though. MIGHT be good for worms?
So use brainrot with it or shatter burst?
@@xMrjamjam Neither will trigger their ability. It only does the additional damage effects.
This is also an underrated weapon for taking out Dokkaebi and her drones solo. First attempt I ran with this and I believe the AMR9 and was able to walk through easily.
Its ok against cars and its good in mp against UAVs and counter UAVs
run this with a good smg setup as a swap weapon to melee zombies with when you run out of ammo
This weapon is insane for clearing cysts in aether nests/infested strongholds in zone 1&2
Scrolled too far for this. Also since it's electric damage when you shoot orbs it gives you the security camera
This weapon can best be described like this: "Infinite ammo Shotgun with the biggest weapon spread ever witnessed by mankind, the ability to pierce multiple targets in rapid succession, built in stunning/slowing capabilities, and an electronic countermeasure... At the cost of what makes a shotgun so popular. Damage, and a loud boom." It's a fun weapon and can be useful against killstreaks and fast zombies, but it's not meant to be a lethal weapon in the slightest and not a lot of people seem to get that. Edit: An anarchist came into this comment's reply section. It's become rather heated over what is essentially a utility weapon.

Unless you're going through getting a legendary weapon or you're getting t3 pack there's just no point slowing enemies is good but when there are things like cryo freeze the the kazmir monkey bombs decoys and cold field or whatever it's called its just out classed by so many other things
Pack 3 is nice especially with legendary tool. It destroys cyst instantly too.
I use this in MP while camo grinding my primary.. As soon as I hear “enemy uav’ i take it out in 2 shots
Hmm I wonder if this would take out the Stormcaller a lot faster since it’s an emp type gun. Plus the Pap name kinda goes with the stormcallers name in a way 🤷🏼♂️
I'm not surprised with how it gets a bunched up crowd since the fact it's an emp "launcher" sounds like a tracer rifle in Destiny 2

One use for it in zombies: Shoot down the little counter uav drone that flies around the mercenaries area.
The new warlord will be using drones if I remember correctly, so yeah, probably good for that.
this thing is godly as a sub weapon... it turns any zombie you hit with it into a shambler... super sprinters... dogs, doesnt matter what you hit with it it slows to a crawl to the point that the target is HARMLESS if you just slowly walk backwards
Super underrated. Near infinite range. Slows everything down, including worms. I solo’d the Act 3 worm with it packed to level 3.

Its great for floating orb just half aim towards it even far away you get hits on it and it destroys it fast
Rarity and pack a punch are stacking multiplier stats so a tier 1 pack is 2x damage a tier 2 is 3x and teir 3 is 7x and rarities are 2,3,4,5,6x so a blue no pack does the same multiplier as a pack 1 common and a blue 2 pack does the same as a 1 pack legendary
In multiplayer it’s Insane, it one shots bomb drones, bully’s the VTOL and wheelson and UAV is a 2 shot

Emp electromagnetic pulse, is not meant to do bodily damage but destroy electrical equipment and items, like sentury guns, turrets, claymores, vehicles possibly merc hellos ect.

This thing is serviceable in tier 3 with a blue tool, sick with a purple, havent tried gold yet, guarantee its completely op with a gold wrench pack 3. Going from blue to purple makes it dumb powerful against hordes in tier 3.
It takes out reinforcement helos, but not attack helos. Probably to prevent you from glitching out just before the orcus fight at the end of act 3

You missed it, I got this gun about 5 mins after season 1 dropped after using tier skips and this gun was amazing. It was one shot kill in teir 1 and it was like a sniper rifle also.

It is a crowd control weapon. Not sure why you couldnt see plain as day that it slows down all the zombies affected by it. It slows them down a lot.
I believe they hurried up an updated it because when I equipped it on Wednesday in zombies… it was one-shotting in tier 1 with no pap or rarity
I bet it would be used more as a utility so like if you wanted to go straight to tier 3 then you could just easily pass all the zombies
One niche use for it might be when you encounter the rook, boss in zombies, he has a sentry turret in the hall guarding his room that can sometimes be tricky to dispose of, might one shot that? lol I’m reaching here Lego! 😂
I don't remember the rook having the sentry. I think ya mean the sniper. Although i don't even remember their actual names either lol.
When packed its actually ok because it has surprisingly far range and slows them

Definitely need to do this again its been buffed. Does way more damage now i havent even pap 3 yet. Did pap 2 legendary and one shot tier 1 and 3 shot manglers in tier 1.
that was my squad in teir 3 lol :D im oni-osiris . we were getting ready to do the elder sigil. that gun has one great use and that is the contracts inside the sigil. on that run two of us stayed on the escort with them and a turret and it ate cause it slowed everything to a crawl. we did end up getting the dog bone and gold plate plans. now we just have to get the knife lol

This is far from being the worse weapon. It does little to no damage, but every shot slows AOE and its auto and also doesn`t use ammo, so no risk of running out of ammo. It plays the support role WAY BETTER than the wunderwaffle - that is supposed to do that function, to control and slow hordes of zombies. In the dark aether area, imagine 2 guys running that while the other 4 run actual damage guns. Almost no zombie will catch you up...

They need to increase damage of this thing in tier 2 and tier 3 zone.
You activate the bad signal portal when the timer hits 2 seconds then when the teleport timer is either at 7,6,5 you accept the portal then you quit on the black screen when it says(dark aether zombies)
could be fun to run this with aether blade and be the crowd control guy for the higher zones
When I first saw the Stormender, I thought it was a fucking coilgun and was super excited for it to release. Also, iirc, Raijin is the Japanese god of storms, which makes sense for the gun's pack name as it's an directional EMP launcher
The best way to kill the mega obamanation are to throw decoy grenades in his mouth while he is shooting his laser.

@@LegoUnlocked I haven't used it yet but after watching this, I think it should at least stun after hitting the same target multiple times. That and increase the slow% and timer on zombies at every PAP tier. So let it be another great support weapon that's viable for a group like the Shield is for a single person.

Slow Mo on Zombies Decent Fire Rate Infinite Ammo EMP shots have AOE when you shoot them. You can shoot next to a zombie, totally whiff past its head, and itll still hit. You can even shoot Zombies that are directly behind you. I LOVE this weapon. Its just fun ONE ISSUE. THIS WEAPON CAN DESTROY CARS BY STANDING ON TOP AND SHOOTING ANYWHERE, SINCE A YOU HAVE A SMALL HITZONE AROUND YOU AS YOU FIRE. BEWARE STANDING ON CARS NOT BEING DRIVEN.

The gun is meant to take out electronic devices is the way I understood it I don't know how it could even work in this manner
the PaP name is also a nod to the RaijinEmX in infinite warfare

When you use aether tools especially blue or purple and then pap it it definitely gets nasty, but have to upgrade the rarity
