  • Just a note that Mr. Puzzle found a new, unintended solution. Every time I cut a batch of puzzles, I remove any new solutions that aren't the one I designed, so if you purchase the puzzle know that you'll be looking for a different solution. Currently, there are no spoilers online and as he mentioned only a few people have found the solution I designed.

    • @@vexzle Why bother? It's a valid solution, you could spend eternity ratting out an unknown number of solutions that weren't the one you designed. Just accept that there will always be the possibility of multiple solutions. You should simply post a link with solutions people have found that are valid. It doesn't have to require any further tweaking to the design, that just means you could introduce yet another solution. I've written what I reckon you should do with the solution, simply include it in a sealed envelope with the puzzle, and move on with your life if they decide to open the envelope. It's not that big of a deal.

  • This puzzles is really nice, thank you for sharing your attempt and result with us. I haven't watched your Big Competitor Chris Ramsay in a while because all of the omega-complicated puzzle boxes he focuses on translate so badly onto video. I don't know what he's pressing, and most of the time I don't understand the mechanisms he is solving because everything is out of sight or in weird angles despite his extra cameras. There's too much going on that makes it really hard to internalize. Hell; even Hanayama puzzles where pieces are locked together and need to be moved into a particular configuration suffer from that issue because the reviewer keeps twisting the different elements in their hands and this makes it near impossible for a single perspective viewer to truly get the experience. (Which I guess is good for the makers because it makes people want to buy for themselves, I guess?) The combination of simplistic-to-the-eye-and-mind puzzles combined with clear logical approach and explanation is what I enjoy about your channel. Please keep making your videos! :-)

  • I'm kind of surprised. I thought you would have tried matching the two M-W shapes on the long snakes to see how well they pack thinly.

  • One of the early solutions was pretty much on point but the frame was upside down, with the corner giving just that much less space.

  • 7:56 all you had to do was flip the circle snake for the head to be on the bottom side

  • I suspect swapping the two long snakes is the intended solution. By the looks the nose of the curled snake would fit perfectly in the m shape of the bottom snake. Also since there is some room to move the whole snake on the left down a bit the length of the longer snake on the bottom would be dealt with.

  • if u look at the edges of the box or square the sides are completely different from each other one corner is rounded out an then another is square or a 90 degree corner an I think these different corners match up with the certain pieces an can def help solve this puzzle idk thats what I got from that because all the pieces have a weird shape that would almost lay right in those corners almost.

    • If anyone is curious why I do corners like this, I'm ensuring there are only two of the same solutions (one way and rotated 180 degrees) rather than four of the same solutions (rotated and mirrored)
