Ah yes, the old bow pivot off of a bridge abutment maneuver. Nicely done.
The hull up there doesn't look all that strong.
😂😊
Looks like drywall you can knock a hole in with your fist. Don't they have inflated protective pads of various shapes and sizes they drop over the side to protect against docks and other vessels.? In our own $7,000,000 Gulf Craft me and the Mrs. use them all the time.
The way he powered away, he nearly hit the stern. What a plank.
They cruise😆 among us!
A plank ?? In the UK we have a saying for people like this: As thick as two short planks :-) When you see the antics of crew on boats on the Miami river / Haulover inlet etc. it make you wonder if these people actually have any boating qualifications at all ?? Or is it a free for all...enough money to buy a boat but don't need a license/qualification ?
@@dickdeleeuw6586 I'm from the UK, and when I said he was a plank, you are correct, I was doubting his intellect.
@@dickdeleeuw6586 He said in the video that it was a rental......
@will7its No, he said it's a charter yacht which basically means when the owner doesn't want to use it (if at all), the yacht and crew are chartered out for $130-140k a week. After this, my guess is the owner will be looking for a new captain; I sure as hell would be!
That initial call with the insurance agent will be fun.
So the Miami cops completely ignored the crash. DUI, who cares. Crash into a bridge, not their problem. Florida where Rich White People Fear Own Cops.
Bridges are getting revenge for their sister in Baltimore 😂 All the best to everyone
At least this bridge can hit back.
😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣 😮😮 id B really 😡 pissed😂😂
Mr P good one . Candidate for comment. Of the year . Clever wit .!! I’ll get some miles out of that one .!! Later . Joe in western Pennsylvania
What a pillock! The skipper was clueless!
Great word, thanks...
It’s a charter yacht lol
@@kathyinwonderlandl.a.8934 I don't get it as all yachts are ultimately for Charter...
It even hit the bridge twice! Double trouble indeed. Truly living up to the legend.
That drone buzzing about must have been the icing on the cake😂
This happened at Haulover Inlet, just Google it. The number of cameraman, youtubers, social media channels & just random folks filming in the area (because said social media channels will pay for footage they miss) is insane.
There is a KZhead channel called Wavy Boats and provide regular footage from the various dramas of Haulover Inlet and they also run a drone so that is probably theirs.
@@MikeK2100 Thanks for letting us know. 😀 Now cue the conspiracy theorists... depth chargers went off sending M/Y Double Trouble into a bridge, exactly like what happened with Dali a little over a week ago. As Double Trouble hit the bridge several more explosions went off at several different points of the bridge. You can see from the footage how the explosions cut through the hull of the 96 metre long super yacht. Double Trouble being an Israeli owned vessel, funded by the US government, and likely having many Epstein like pedophiles on board, were protected by the police, who then proceeded to chase after everyone who had a camera nearby. The drone operator was shot in the crown jewels after he tried to flee the scene...if you were the drone operator and in hospital, and you have survived subsequent murder attempts, please get in touch. We'd like to hear from you.
@@dangermouse8466the reality is your probably pretty close 😅😅😅…the Illuminati is more powerful than you think . But this is obviously a lizard people black flag operation . I have a lot of intel on this ….because I live in my mother’s basement .

No worries…that will buff right out! 😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣👍🏻🤣🤣🤣🤣
Parker Brothers is going to come out with a new game similar to Chutes and Ladders called Ships and Bridges...
Fix double trouble with FlexTape!!😀
Damn, that was my line!
Surely a charter boat that size comes with a captain and crew. Getting side on to that current while so close to the bridge was always going to end in tears. Why didn't he reverse well away from the bridge be trying to turn? I'm guessing the boat will have a new captain when the repairs are done.
I have never tried to reverse against such a strong current but it looked like they could handle the reversing part good. Then I have the same question as you. With the motor power they have, they could easily have made the turn if they only reversed a little further and then didn't hesitate making the turn.
a little bondo she'll be fine
How fast can it reverse? The current there is fast
Vessel appears to have power at all times. Captain now looking for new job. Good luck.
He'll have no problem finding one either. Captains are in short supply. Even bad ones
That area is called Haulover and there are plenty of videos out there of people going in and out and all the craziness associated with it. To say you are taking a risk is quite the understatement. I would think that any vessel with more than just 2 decks would avoid going through there. Just not worth it. And as can be seen from the coverage, people are not courteous with each other either. It is truly eat or be eaten. And Double Trouble got eaten on this. 😞 Thank you for the coverage and a return to yacht news!
Its the only outlet from Miami harbor/river..not much choice.

What kind of ships master would put his ship/boat/yacht side-on to a current running towards a bridge or other obstruction? Surely must be an amateur with more money than sense.
I was thinking the same thing. Also, the current flows in two directions and deciding to go through when the water is flowing so quickly seems stupid for this guy. Wait for the slack, man.
If you never helmed (drive) a boat you will not understand this, but as soon as you stop making way into the current, it will grab and put you to the beam, even with a small boat (much worse on a yacht of this size). The video does not do it justice, but as he only stops going backwards a second possibly two (possibly delay from the engine controls to change shift from forward to reverse), the current grabs him with impressive force and turns him around in like three four seconds. Could have he done something to save it, yes but accidents do happen for a reason. Thar second or two delay, whether it was in thinking it over or delay from throttle response screws him. As soon as the current grabs him, his faith is done, like a car which lost traction in a curve and ends in a wall. Yes the bow thruster with that current will never do it all IMO...
@@PowerYachtAccording to info on video the yacht was told that it was not safe to leave plus high tide which restricted the clearance of the bridge... The bad decision was taken from the beginning for being stubborn and stupid 😒 Just like HGV driver ignoring lower bridge 🌉 signs . Can't expect miracles from these stupid decisions.
Probably the owner...
Crashing your boat into a bridge seems to be the new popular fad!😂😂
1:13 Moments before the incident the captain was heard saying “hold my beer!” I have confirmation from an unnamed source. You’re welcome. Cheers Pat🇦🇺
Im naming my yacht No Trouble...can't wait to be featured in a future eSysman video.
And I'm naming my yacht "Torpedo No Trouble." We'll sure to be featured on an eSysman video. 😛
That's Haulover for you!
The figurehead joke was a good one. Real good. 😂
That is what stupid money buys. Gaudiness. Only Bezos.
What's this smash the bridge month?!
My man, eSysman! All the guys were thinking the same seeing the figurehead of Koru. You said it. 😁
Nice weather at least.
It’s now a Buick it has portholes!
Double Trouble is now Triple Trouble.
MY Double Trouble hit the bridge twice, definitely lives up to its name. For $130k/wk charter, I wonder how much more it costs with a competent crew.
Skipper Gilligan is at the helm again~!!! Shalom
Just convert those hull punctures into windows!
Thank you for sharing this yacht news.😊
Wow! There goes this yacht into repair!! I wonder if the owner has a second yacht or his oor she close friends will have them onboard while this yacht is in repair!!😊

Good stuff!
5:50 That bridge looked like the one in Baltimore. :O
Fabulous.
Get the guys from the Red Green show to patch the holes with duct tape!😅
another great vid I really like Motor yacht loon the y really post alot and seem to be a really great yacht
That will buff right out!
WoW BRILLIANT
Always drive you boat as fast as you can so you look cool.
Even the deckhand on the boat was like come on you idiot.
A 55 gallon barrel of bondo might cover those holes up. They made a big deal of inspecting the bridge protector, which beat that yacht like a rented mule with no damage to itself. While they were doing that, another yacht missed the "diver down" flags and made the staff on the diver's boat very angry.
What happened to the diver? Was he swept up by the current? I hope he wasn't made into spaghetti bolognese by the prop.
That is a nasty piece of "bridge protection". Could that crewman not have put out some of those rubber fenders?
Given more time I'm sure they could have dropped some fenders but not in the few seconds he had to react.
@@nanoflower1 surely most crews would have had fenders ready and over both sides. I go out in a small yacht, not anywhere this size and we have the fenders out when manoeuvring in a restricted area. Does anyone know if this was a so-called professional crew?
@@paulweaver4297 Why would they have put out the fenders? At least at first there was no reason to do so since normally they pass right under the bridge. It was the combination of fast moving water and high tide that created the problem. Putting out the fenders on that yacht might have been the right move but I'm sure the captain thought he would just get lined up and pass right under the bridge the second time.
I keep having to say the same thing over and over again. Who's Captaining these boats? I've never seen worse handling ever! Is this contagious?
The two crew members were airlifted to safety. Presumably before the owner turned up.
The skippers of these yachts have little to no commercial experience. They typically do a fast track RYA yacht-master course then start skippering and work their way up.
So many videos show crazy boating in America, if its not boat rage its road rage.
So glad he had those big beautiful fenders on the bow and the deckhand didn't try and put them between the boat and the bridge.
The former captain is the new pixie dust spreader on the tilt-a-whirl.
Thanks Cousin Eddie!
Are the ankers there to decorate the bow? 4:06)Appear to cost less buying a new yacht. 9:25)Catherine Bach, AKA "Daisy Duke"? She was the figurehead on a Spanish sailing ship. Hey, Mr. George.
Ouch!

When the amount of talent that you have, does not equal the amount of money that you have.
A figurhead hooter update is needed every few hundred hours. This is what I'm told anyway. Great vid E!
I saw no power being applied on the Double Trouble at all, the anchors were stowed, what the actual heck. And 9:10 ... precious!
That'll buff right out.
eSysman Super Yatchs, I have extensive training in marine operations, and l ived 20 years in Miami in the area of Bay Harbour Islands, I am certain the spot where this incident happened is the Haulover Beach Bridge, which is located next to my old neighborhood, and which in time is one of the entrances to the Miami Beach Waterways and the Bay of Biscayne. what an accident, it is just that there wasn`t enough clearance from those post fenders, so if you are at the helm and are not sure there is enough room for the boat to pass clear from the fenders, then you rather dont take any risk, and stop engine and think about the possibility of going trough the passage assisted by a small tug or a tow or some other smaller boat, amazing catch by a drone and someone else camera, I hope everything is alright for them by now. bst rgs
Not gotta have many superyachtS in Monaco marina for the coming GP!
What is it with ships and bridges this year?
Enjoyed this varied video E-Man...Bad day for Double Trouble but, even tho I am no certified Pilot, it seems like ANOTHER example of captains not paying attention to weather, tides, etc. Just because it is sunny, it does not always mean that is an easy day for sailing. I really like the looks of Ultra G...very F-1esque. ~~~masthead implants....😂😂😂😂😂
He gets better weed than me, not sure that is good.😂 Double Trouble. Well named.
Well that's one way to turn around 🤣
Haulover inlet is not a joke
that hurt. the first clip with the bridge
Owner operator - looks like the kid in the black Tshirt was saying" WTF Gramps!"
looks like the captain has to find a new job. LOL
Wow
JOB OPENING!
Cap’n Krunch ! Lookin for work again. Double Trouble will be exactly that.
That's KZheadr/Real estate guy Ben Mallah's yacht. His son, Ben II, was "captaining" it.
*Sticky This* (after confirmed)?
The police boat missed a great opportunity, probably because he was laughing at the 'tricky' maneuvers, but there are plenty of No Wake signs in there. I'm sure a citation would have really made their day.
Ohh I absolutely cried for the owner when I saw that, Ouch that will cost some $$$$😭😭 such a lovely craft as well. My question, is why cant they put big rubber fenders in front of the bridge supports???, to protect the yacht and the bridge?
Crunch!
Nice piercing on the big happy boat.
That is Haulover inlet in Florida. Its brutal current and waves many boats get into trouble in there. There is channel on YT of boats getting into trouble in there
I'm waiting for a series of news items on a yacht called Disaster Ahead! I don't think it actually exists, but it would be fun if it did.
That was crazy bad damage.
look like a new captain position will be opening up shortly for that boat.
It’s just a few scratches. Nothing to worry about.
As an old skipper used to say to me: "Silly mistake. Could have happened to anyone." (Hi Clive, if you're reading this)
I dont remember making that comment, but I might be a different Clive eventhough we are both mariners. Strange world.
imho, the captain backed off and was using the rudder to slide the boat across to the left to give himself room for the turn. The rudder just makes the stern go side to side in a backcurrent while the bow weathervanes downstream. He misjudged and let it drift too far while doing that. You can't turn across a current unless you're moving forwards, and that takes you downstream twice as fast. He should have crabbed across with some throttle on in reverse so the boat wouldn't drift downstream. He backed off far enough.
It was windy AF here the last two days.
The big question after the yacht bridge crash; under or over a million to repair ?
That current is no joke
A hell. That'll buff out. Si Capitano??
The vertical support of the bridge is called a 'pier', not a pillar. The structure in the water in the front of the pier is called a 'fender'. Fenders are there to tell vessels which span of the bridge to cross under, to provide protection to the piers against vessel collision, and, ideally, to prevent damage to the vessel if it becomes errant (hence many fenders incorporating softer rubber elements, as are found where ships dock).
You sure about that? "A pier is a raised structure that rises above a body of water and usually juts out from its shore, typically supported by piles or pillars, and provides above-water access to offshore areas."
@@eSysmanSuperYachts Yes, I’m sure. Both of those things are called piers. Bridge engineers never refer to them as pillars, and they’re not called ‘pylons’ unless they’re supporting a cable-stayed or suspension bridge.
Maybe in your country, but where I’m from a pier is what it says above.
@@eSysmanSuperYachts A 'pier' refers is BOTH of those things. A waterfront structure, as well as the vertical support structure for a bridge superstructure. Nowhere in the bridge engineering literature is that vertical support structure for a bridge superstructure referred to as a 'pillar'.
Was Francesco Schettino (Costa Concordia captain) behind the helm?
FRANCESCO SAID, IT WAS NOT HIS FAULT THE ALLISION HAPPENED, AS HE COULD NOT SEE THE BRIDGE, FROM THE FEMALE PASSENGERS HOTEL BEDROOM 🤣🤣
Nice driving Popeye!
Awww.
Oh boy.
