The Hughes brothers going to be a major force in this league for the next 10-15 years. Going to be fun to watch.
I get a feeling that they'll end up getting Quinn Hughes from Vancouver. It might be in a trade or in a few years when Quinn gets tired of losing in Vancouver, so he'll jump ship in free agency.

I've heard worse from some really Homer announcers.. at least this guy sounded excited about the toe drag and the wraparound... he was like "toe drag... gorgeous! wraparound! Oh!" What can you really expect from the opposing team's announcers? They have an audience of Capitals fans. You want them to be jumping up and down like Dano?

Wait for free agent, no need. Devils have a ton of cheap pipeline prospects to use before they pick up Quinn. He will join to have all his family at the same place. Don’t worry think about as an future investment.

Yes
They can only carry 23 players in the playoffs so I wouldn't count on it.
@@photogus He's definitely better, if not as good, as half their defensemen. But he's had a long season and only 2 pro games under his belt. The game speeds up even faster and gets more physical for the playoffs. They may not want to rush him. The thing with Bahl is that he's literally built for playoff hockey. They need that toughness plus they tend to win whenever he's in the lineup. I'd choose Smith as the odd man out if I had to. But they seem to value his leadership which is another key aspect in the playoffs. Severson makes me nervous and you never know with him. It's a tough choice. We'll see what they decide
