Добрый вечер, дорогая Лилиан и малышка кот :-) I have a question. Please forgive me if you've covered this in one of your previous lessons. It seems like that letter "a" and "o" are sometimes used interchangeably. For example in "подождать" the first 2 vowels are written "o" but pronounced "a". Help please! Spasiba!
Yes, your observation is correct. When I spell words in Russian, I write them the way they are supposed to be written. But in order for us to be able to pronounce them, I write the pronunciation. “O” without the stress almost always reads as “a”, “e” as “ee”, the vowels undergo reduction. Hope this helps. But can write more 💖🐈🤗
I am looking for your content that seems to read Accent? Accent! Of course I know not every word that sounds like a cognate, IS a cognate. I want to find it again and see how wrong or right I am. BTW, I now recognize the word for calm, having heard it in a song and an ad. Be well, both you and El Senor Don Pepas.
I published a video on my other channel, here is the link kzhead.info/sun/eal7YNOIeH9_lZE/bejne.html Thank you for your support. Warm regards from Don Pepas 😻
Me again with a question: sometimes Sasha says: " spasiba" and the second work sounds like "groanay". Can you tell me the correct spelling & meaning? Thank you!
Sasha is saying "agromnaye spasiba!" meaning "a huge thank you", thank you very much. Some people say "bol'shoye spasiba" that is also "thank you very much." But "agromnaye spasiba" is even bigger that the "thank you very much" in its original meaning. ❤️❤️❤
@@RussianwithPumaMessi - OH, thank you for that! Agromnaye spasiba, Ms. Lilian! ❤️❤️❤️
you are so very welcome! ❤️
(Glancing through news headlines; today is Jan 25. You doing ok? Saw "earthquake")
Thank you for checking on us. We are fine, didn't feel anything. How are you?
@@RussianwithPumaMessi I am hanging in there, thanks for asking! Doing a lot of sorting, missing my boy! but healing somewhat. I found his cursive Russian notebook, did I tell you? he was so much further ahead than me!! I am getting back to Russian bc I like the fact I can remember him with it, but it'll take me forever to learn, so Alex is always near! I saw a new Otava Yo video that made me laugh and I saw something also on cases from you I want to read. Alex also did better with cases, sigh. I still laugh at remembering how he always thought Gerda was "mean" to Messi, LOL!
@@loriwooten5249 I am glad to hear that your healing has begun. That's a start. Keep doing things that bring you peace and joy. And yes, I agree, Gerda is always mean to Messi. ❤❤
Please keep the name.
💖🤗🐈🐾❤️
Ya lyublyu "Russki izitz Pumai Messi" please don't change it❤
Thank you for your input. Really appreciate it!
