I love that bit by Zanetti @8:16, to fox the two opponents. Baggio did well by delaying the ball to Moriero at the end of that same move, because trying to play it straight across to him would probably have meant it being intercepted by the defender, and in any case Moriero would have been faced with the keeper with little time to pick his spot. Instead Baggio took the defender and the keeper out of the equation. Needless to say, a good performance throughout from Baggio.

Two amazing througballs in the first half, some more chances created, an involvement in Inter's fourth goal, and an assist for the last one; nice game! He really was in great shape that season, despite the fact that Inter were terrible. If he had been playing for a team that were actually competitive, like Parma, Lazio, or even Fiorentina again, maybe he would have won some titles that season. Even if he had stayled at Bologna to be honest, seeing as they won the Intertoto Cup and went far in the Coppa Italia and the UEFA Cup.

@@razoo911 Just goes to show how wrong Ulivieri was about Baggio! It also shows how it can be a problem when a club buys a player without the coach wanting him.
