He Saw A Chicken, Then Turned It Into A Billion Dollar Shoe Brand!

By ignoring fashion and going against the trend, these ‘dad shoes’ have gone from practical became cool. But why are chickens on the inside of every New Balance shoe box? And how was Michael Jordan linked to the company before Nike? The reason for both is traced back to how they were used as the foundation to build the most distinctive brand in the market. Going through many phases but never changing - this is the unconventional story of New Balance’s success and how a chicken foot was turned into a multi-billion dollar shoe brand.

  • I knew of these shoes when I joined the Army back in 2000, these shoes were given on day 1, definitely very comfy and ready to use, nothing to break or get used to. fast forward to 2023, still my brand for any day..

  • I absolutely love the New Balance brand! They're absolutely comfy and stylish! I own a pair of 608s, which are cross trainers. I plan on getting another pair of NBs sometime soon. I'm very glad to see that the brand is having a moment and are on par with other shoe brands such as Nike and Adidas. 😎👍❤️🙏

  • My orthotics are built into my black (leather-like) NB shoes. I get them resoled with Vibram lugged soles every couple of years. They are 10 years old and have steel shanks built into them. Excellent workmanship.
