I thoroughly enjoyed this episode and definitely can glean a lot from it. Also, it's amazing to get a look into what this man has accomplished and his mindset behind all of it. Kudos to Colin and Samir for creating a platform where he could be viewed in a different light and people could gain insight into who he really is.

    • The quote is attributed to the stoic philosopher, Seneca. I have one of his quotes hanging on my wall, it says "we suffer more often in imagination than in reality" - it acts as a great reminder to get out of my own way. Another Stoic you might like is Marcus Aurelius (a roman emperor and fellow stoic, who was heavily influenced by Seneca), he wrote Meditations which is also a great read. One of my favourite quotes by Aurelius is "the impediment to action advances action. What stands in the way, becomes the way".

  • So glad I ran into this interview on Sunday morning when I could listen all the way through. It’s a good listen/watch, but the best comes after 44 minutes. I was enthralled to hear an insider’s reflection about where AI is taking us, and what that means for art and creativity, for the individual and society. But most importantly, he gives a life’s lesson about going past the labels to bringing yourself to the game of life. Miles Fisher has turned it into a business, many businesses. And has fun at it. And stays real. ❤ There are more conversations to be had about AI and digital doppelgängers: critical ones, but I hope they keep in mind this optimistic view.

  • He's been doing Tom Cruise impressions for so long his natural mannerisms, intonation, facial expression, align with how Tom Cruise really interviews. You guys should deep fake Miles into Tom Cruise in this very interview and post clips of it and you'll see how well it works when he's not even trying to do the impression.

  • I really appreciate Miles' intelligence and integrity. He can shift perspectives to make the best of new situations while also having the fortitude to not seize influencer deals as a deep-faked Tom Cruise 👏

  • i have such a high respect for this guy, finally clearly defining and bringing to the forefront how being a creator, reflects being an artist. There is so much creators can and should learn from artists, and this video and many of these more recent interviews reeeally portray that.
