Probably the best 3 minutes of sport you might be likely to see. Amazing sprint finish after almost two hours of racing.

1st place- Best feeling 2nd place- worse feeling 3rd place- satisfied feeling
yes.
So true
Third place - OH LOL
@Connor Parkinson 4th place - Disappointed feeling *
1st: YES!! 2nd: FUCK YOU!!! 3rd: Yay! Bronze Medal! 4th: ... 5th and beyond: That was fun!
Imagine running for that long only to realise you have 1000km to go
@@Blaze-hu6py oh the irony
raheem segowski 😂
raheem segowski can’t use your brain to understand the joke?
He that idiot
I’m not even going to cap I don’t get it can someone explain
Can you imagine what it feels like when other competitors literally stop and start hyping you up!
It was his brother! The brother basically gave up a shot for the podium to give his brother energy 😊
@@SilencedButNotForgotten at 2:30? The podium? Weren't there like 30 other people in front of the guy that was cheering right there? Wasn't his brother the one that was actually in third at the beginning of the video as soon as they came around the cones? Either way, to have your brother's cheering for you as well is dope
Gave me goosebumps man. Nothin like a spectator and a competitor feeding off each others energy! Takes me back to the HS football glory days lol
@Zirob. Agreed. Energy transfer is a real thing.
His Brother ! ;)
Why did they stop with 999 kilometers to go?
Lol
🤣🤣🤣
🤣🤣🤣
You are talking about the British, right? 999km, one balcony jump, and... Game over. 💀
2:56 me and my friend getting chased by a stray dog.
me too
Meters. He meant Meters
Anyone else notice the guy who was running their pace for a few seconds in the park? He was probably curious if he could even run as fast as them. Daughter couldn't keep up.
Charles Dotson yup
No..i was busy looking at your muscles
Yeah I laughed at that
If he thinks he can he's an idiot because they aren't running full speed it's not a sprint.
@@chuloferso23 ...yikes.
3:24 my brain when I stand up too quickly
I legit read your comment at that moment 😂😂
Underrated comment tho
Pain is temporary, but if you quit, it will last forever!
The GB guy stopping his race to cheer his team mate lol
Scott T it’s his brother
Ali Brownlee (his brother) had won Olympic Gold that year and was injured already (hence he was out of the race by his standards) and didn't care.
TheNjackets not that year. This was 2013. But yes he was injured
His brother
As other's have said, that's his brother Alistair Brownlee. He's actually the most successful triathlete of all time - 4 World Championship golds and the only triathlete to ever win 2 Olympic individual gold medals (London 2012 and Rio 2016).
@ 0:19 "a thousand kilometers to go" WTF mate ?
i had the same reaction
1500 m swim, 40 km bike and 1009 km run!:D
comedyman112 Had the same ''u wot m8'' reaction
They should finish that last "620 miles" in another 8 1/2 days or so.
Hyperbole
Legend has it they are still running the 999km left
These will go down as the golden years of Triathlon, in 50 years time people will always talk about the rivalry between the Brownlee's and Gomez!
I keep watching this over and over, what a race! Imagine competing for that long, and it coming down to a dead Sprint for 100 m, couple hundred at most! That is ridiculous. Both of these dudes are warriors!
Fantastico! To keep their running form going all out after 2 hours of competition is super human. To me, these are the best athletes in the world.
diego consafo Hm go watch some motocross/super cross.
@@noahsteffens828 or wrestling
"im gonna go interview these guys and hv a heart attack" lol
Those guys were able to maintain that pace for a 1000k. Impressive. Fastest 1000k ever by the way, cars and planed included.
i feel like your joking but i can’t tell
@@gonzalonovaco9772 cause they guy said 1000km to go and they did it in a minute or so which is quicker than a car so it was a joke
They were traveling at a pace of around 6km/sec. Or around mach 19. They are literally the fastest entities on Earth. In fact everyone competing that day were the fastest entities ever recorded to go that fast. (The joke is the commentator said they had 1000km to go, in the beginning of the video.)
Imagine the devastation finishing 2nd in such a death race
And the glory of winning
everytime i watch this i get excited.
imagine having a brother that’s stops his race to cheers u on
They are both amazing and that was beyond incredible!!
Fenomenal la reacción de Jonathan felicitando sinceramente a Javier. Jonathan sabe ganar y también sabe perder y actuar como todo un caballero. Felicidades los 2 sois unos campeones.
Love seeing battles like this!
Can't stop replaying it. Awesome!
haha.. at the end you could see gomez' lips saying, "fuck yeah"!

Amazing display of perseverance... loved it.
That was pretty sick to watch, not gonna lie.
00:51 look at the little girl in the background

She’s slow af
Blu she’s basically sprinting to keep up lol

Javier, eres inspirador para muchos triatletas.
This guys are a freak of nature! Wow!
Watched several of these tonight. All finishers of this grueling race are winners in my book!
Noya y BrownLee, menuda carrera histórica que hicísteis aquí...no he visto una carrera y final más emocionante que éste; para mí habéis ganado los dos y mi enhorabuena para Noya por alzarse este día con la victoria. Grandes los dos!!

Brilliant.
They both winners
You are obviously english so
Cesar Orozco So are the rest of the world class athletes in the race. But the winner winner in this race is Gomez, thats how this sport works.
Oh yes, Cesar Orozco the english man, definitely.
😂😂😂 English with they logistics
the bastard English needed CPR and Heimlich maneuver to expel his great failure before the Spanish superiority. Fuck you When he saw the second and glorious SPANISH reaching the finish line, he got up, from the effort liquid shit descended from his interior destroyed by defeat he will never forget...
lol 1000 km left in the race?
+Alejandro I was hearing the same thing... hahaha
lmfao i thought i was the only 1
Alejandro surely they must have meant metres??
Ya they ran the last 1000km in the last 2min of the race man
The race is still going now...
Brilliant
Durísimo.
J'adore tous les athlètes dans tous les sports ils sont merveilleux

Man that was intense
Even though I knew the outcome it still such a great buzz to watch
What a race
Is it posible to watch the entire race? anywhere on the entire Internet? I can't find a single web... Alguno sabe dónde ver/descargar la carrera entera?
yes
@@xakxakgaming2226 5 years later lol
@@facuflauers yes
Grande Javier! N1
That was crazy close!!!!
About 20 seconds into the video, the commentator says 1000 kilometres are left, instead of 1000 metres! xD
A thousand kilometer would probably takes me 3 days to finish.
Saved by the Ball more than that
Wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy more than that
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay mooooore
Spanish pride!!!
Your women are the hottest in the world!
FUCK SPAIN
El inglés va más forzado. El español no descompone el gesto físico
