With the help of SPECTO data, it'll help tell the story about reaction shape, overall hook and continuation through the pins. Here are the SPECTO data points used and definition of each term:
Launch Speed - Speed measured off the hand.
Entry Speed - Speed measured at the pins. (What you'd see on your home center MPH screens)
Rev Rate - Revolutions Per Minute (RPM)
Launch Angle - The angle the ball traveled the first 10 feet.
Break Point Position - Board at which the ball was at its outermost position.
Total Hook - Total number of boards the ball crosses on the way to the pins.
Hook Power - Number of boards the ball hooked based on the True Breakpoint.
Entry Angle - The angle of the ball between 51 and 55 feet.
Impact Angle - The angle of the ball between 57 and 59.5 feet.
Pin Deck Exit - Ball position at the end of the pin deck.

I know you’re not big on comparisons, but I think it would be interesting to see the similarities/differences between the Effect and the DV8 Violent Collision. They seem to be close in their composition, except the cores.

Mr. Brunsnick! I have a question that I can't find an answer to, but you might have it. There are pre orders on the Nu Blue leather shammies, but I can't find a release date. You wouldn't happen to know, would you?
There’s never usually a release date for accessories. Just waiting for them to arrive and then funnel out to distributors and pro shops.
From what I saw in my league, you can stay in the widow longer since the solid cover blends the pattern more. My effect would see the dry and instantly start rolling left lol very fun when there’s a lot of oil. The Effect is my favorite look, and I have other balls to move to afterwards including the 2.0 hybrid 🔥 I love Hammer’s line right now
I feel Hammer is leading every brand right now when it comes to quality, quantity, and versatility

Hook Power is boards crossed from the break point. I have the glossary of SPECTO terms in the description on every video for reference.
Are the BW hybrid 2.0 and the effect too similar to run them both in a three ball arsenal? Usually go BW2H down to Raw Smoke for game 3. Or would the NU B be the better 3rd ball?
If you leave both shiny with similar layout they may be too close. As for NU, if they are really dry it would be a good choice.

With all my health problems, I can roll a 220 and next game a 180. For me, I'm not going to be consistent enough to notice the subtle differences. Does that make sense, or am I crazy? I'm LOVING the Effect for how I throw. Widow 3.0 seemed a bit strong for me, and 2.0 hybrid was the choice until the Effect came out. Would love your opinion. I had a 900 bank roll until it split 360 degrees after sitting in my office through covid, and before that, it was a teal rhino 16lb (when I was WAY more flexible and not a nearly disintegrated ankle). U know I love your stuff! ✌️

A pin-down setup on the Black Widow 3.0 will give you the exact same "continuous" shape as the Hammer Effect, for a LOT less money. The Effect is overpriced imo. But a pin-up setup on the Widow? Will do things the Effect just cannot.
Coverstocks still matter, while they are close on the fresh, as the friction takes over, the Effect will be better suited than the 3.0.
@@brunsnick Nick I'm blown away you replied to me. Learned SO much watching you. Still struggling with the "hook" but getting better. Had my Widow for maybe 2 months now. I got it because my Rhino just couldn't hook at all on oily league nights. But on the dry? Well you have a point because I've never gotten more Brooklyn's in my life. I went pin-up, wish I went pin-down, but I'll get the hang of it. I'm not speed and rev dominant, yet. Great video!

I absolutely despise the Effect for taking all the hype and glory away from the 3.0. I just got mine a month ago, and it's only been out for 2 months, but now it's old news already thanks to the Effect.
Wouldn't say old news, Widows are in their own class and the 3.0 is a solid strong ball vs this skid flip ball. Both exist in harmony.
