It isn’t new and it isn’t saltwater. That is Lake Shelby. It is connected to saltwater and redfish and crabs are in there.
Looks exactly like the ace me and my wife rode to on bikes at the Gulf State Park. Definitely will bring the rod with me next time.

@@danielsettles3771 on state park rd 2 you will cross a small bridge. Right when you cross over it there is a paved “trail” that you can walk down and it’ll take you straight to it. You can also park at the entrance to state park rd 2 and get there a lot faster. If not park in the big parking area and go across the big bridge to get back towards that area. Hopefully that helps, the explanation was kinda sucky.

A good thing it only went twenty with your weight because if it went faster the traffic committee would force the manufacturer to put governors on the bikes to regulate the speed. Like they did with mopeds.

How do y’all get so many redfish I’ve picked up fishin bout 6-7 months now and never caught a redfish I’ve tried so many different rigs, baits, lures, places and nothing just cat fish
