  • I can't believe I'm seeing this table again. Storytime: I got this table as a gift, I had no idea about the price. It didn't work in my naturally decorated hippie home, so I took it out into my garden, turned it over and planted flowers in it. My mother saw it and told me that the designer himself gave it to me (a relative, I didn't know this was his work) and told me the price of the table. Now I have a flower pot worth €350 outside. 😂😂🙈🙈 I feel so ashamed

    • Lucky flowers! The table is essey's Illusion and it was all over designer shops years ago. One of my all time favourites because it looks awesome and is made by hand. There used to be a blog which showed the whole process (don't know if it's still up).

  • The melting skirt will look like the pictures if you use flash photography, or under UV light (like you tested); that's why the listing called it a "rave skirt". The piping is the same sort of material used in reflective clothing for safety.

    • As a tax accountant, I can tell you FOR certain, we don’t go over each expense. Oh gosh, that would be a nightmare. Typically, we give clients the IRS rules for expanses to qualify as allowable, deductible “business expenses”. The client is the one who has to go through all of their expenses determine what is allowable, then hand over a the detail to us when that’s complete. We provide guidelines and answer questions, and ultimately the client confirms that they provided true and accurate info to the best of their knowledge, and have records (receipts, invoices, documents, etc.) proving those numbers. After all, they know details about their expenses, and are best equipped to make detailed analyses. - That said, we know what common “pitfalls” to look out for, and, of course, look over all financials we receive from the client. Home office expenses are such a huge misunderstood deduction. It can be funny to hear what unsophisticated clients think will be deductible, before learning the reality of it all. For example, MLM BeachBody coaches often feel confident that things like their exercise clothing & equipment, healthy groceries, home decor…everyday living costs - does not mean that your pricey Lululemon leggings, Hydroflask bottle and that “Live, Laugh, Girl Boss” wall sign, are deductible business expenses. Just because they’re in the “health” area (eer really just selling Shakeology powder and very “BB coach identifiable” FB efforts, all with the ultimate goal of selling Shakeology), doesn’t mean that any personal expenses that relate to health, are properly tax deductible business expenses. Anyway, that’s that. Hopefully I didn’t pop anyone’s “psyched to deduct the cost of my new Etsy $150 bedazzled “Girl Boss” tumbler” vibe, by breaking the news that unfortunately, the IRS will does not feel that your classy and super-original 😂🤭 tumbler, is “necessary and ordinary” in the course of business - BB coaching (ahem, selling expensive supplement drink powder). Sorry about that! On the bright side, if you had improperly deducted it and then got selected for an audit, wouldn’t it have been embarrassing for that to have come to light and been penalized for? “Ma’am, the $150 deduction for “Etsy beverage cup” has been disallowed. Can you please provide me with some detail about this expense, to help me confirm the preliminary audit results?…oh ok I see, a personalized sparkly cup. Findings are correct. $150 disallowed plus 20% penalty and 10% error fee, in addition to the tax underpayment charge of $50, for a total reversal and addition of $245.” Hahaha

  • So the trick I learned with the nails is you do the stickies then a dot of nail glue at the base of the nail (near cuticle line) then press the nail on. Helps seal the edges! Also best to not get them wet for the first few hours so they can like set.

    • @@MsEpicArt yeah, I have this same issue - she's very entertaining and seems nice but this (and other similar) content just screams wastefulness - not least in a world where one of our biggest environmental issues is clothing along with general climate change. Plus, the money dropped - sure it's entertaining - but it show's how much KZhead creators obv make and it kind of feels a bit of a flaunt, or maybe that's just my issue - I don't know it's a weird world of KZhead, watch me and I'll make money - most of you don't have money - but let me show you how much I'm making - and the algorithm will keep you hooked watching - and the cycle continues (and here I am still - being entertained...no shade to Hope and those who make money out of this - but the weird world of KZhead makes the have/have not dynamic more obvious...or again, maybe that's just my issue...??)

  • The fact that Hope has a whole assistant! I love seeing her thrive! She's so sweet and she deserves every bit of success plus more!   • I'm pretty sure that the neon drip skirt, the part you thought would light up is actually really reflective material you see on like the orange construction vests and stuff. So like in bright light it gets really reflective.
