  • I went to university in the US. One of the best exploits I used was I "lost" my student ID just before my last semester went to get a new one when a bunch of new students were getting theirs. Never was asked about when I was graduating, got a student ID for the next 4 years even though I graduated. 4 years of free Microsoft office use Multiple student discounts around my the city 4 years of free museum entrances Free soft drinks at many local restaurants 4 years of free public transport in my city 4 years of a discounted cellular plan 10% off samsung products that would stack with current sales, I got my laptop at a 20% off sale than stacked my 10% off for a total of 30% off lol A discount on my car It was like a real life cheat code.

  • At my university in Australia, the university's security had a roster of which of the permit only car parks they would be patrolling for the week to issue parking violations for any car that didn't display a permit. There were more car parks than what they could check in a day, so hence the roster. The patrol roster was posted on a notice board in the security office. The funny thing was that the notice board itself was on a wall facing a window that had no blinds on it. So anyone walking past the window could see the schedule and know which car parks to avoid and get free parking.

  • Never underestimate the power of the Summer semester. My school gave me several 4 year scholarships that amounted to a full ride; however, as they had no limit on the total number of classes I could take in those 4 years and the summer classes (which we were discouraged from taking) were covered as well. I managed to get two bachelor's degrees and a minor, none of which had overlapping course requirements, in those 4 years, despite maintaining the recommended average course load of 4 to 5 classes a week. The trick, I treated the Summer semester as a regular semester because I knew full well that most professors who cover the Summer semester don't want to be there and expect everyone there to have failed the course in a previous semester, so they tend to skip a lot of the fluff and grade easier

  • Back in highschool when I was 18 I could get away with a lot just because of my age, which I more than used to my advantage. Due to this I was allowed to sign myself out of school and leave whenever. Anytime I would get written up and got after school detention or lunch detention ect... ( they stopped doing out of school suspension cause of me) I wouldn't have to show up simply because they weren't allowed to keep me in the building or force me to show up. And while yes they could give you more detentions for not showing up they'd all get removed anyways at the end of each quarter. In the end I caused a lot of hell and chaos making school a lot more fun... for me anyways

    @crazytemplar8312@crazytemplar8312 Жыл бұрын
    • I'm surprised they didn't try to deny you graduation or something like that. Surely you weren't the first 18 year old to get detention. They have to have some sort of plan for this. Maybe they could change the policy to require students to serve detention if they want to get credit for classes. That's one way I could see them solving what should have been an obvious problem in their detention policy.

Dan couldn't work out why he was unable to build anywhere (as the students had no path too it), and thought it was something to do with trying to delete the remains of the Dig Site, which he also couldn't work out how to do... He even tried 'phoning Spiff for help, but he didn't answer. :D

But im also disappointed because going to university where i live costs ~350 each semester/6 months, it also comes with free public transport. But with that amount of money you cant get an equivalent adult transport ticket for 4 months. I mean... thats balanced. Just not perfectly. It was balanced enough to have a family friend be a student for 25 years straight without attending university (except for signing up for a course) .... because he was at work lol

  • How my university exploited me: Last semester just before the summer this year, I had a professor who was responsible for teaching research methods to our class of business students, however about 1/3 of our classes he canceled for various reasons and the other 2/3 he just told us stories about when he lived in Africa. To keep it short he didn't teach us anything and he obviously didn't know the subject, one example is during our final project a lot of students had questions regarding the instructions he had given us a week prior to which he responded with "Oh that, you dont need to worry about that its just a suggestion from the other professor you can do whatever you want there is no guidelines". But it gets better because this professor wasn't only wasting the other students and my own time and money, he had also bamboozled my university. After such a disappointing semester with this professor, our student rep and myself decide to make a formal complaint about this professor, and to our surprise and the Deans, our professor wasn't actually a professor but a con man who had been pretending to be a professor for the last 3 years. He had snuck through the cracks due to the covid-19 pandemic and been teaching bullshit for 3 years while sitting on his ass making tons of money. Going back in September for my third year hopefully i wont get scammed.

So long as you always make sure to collect on that drink, each cartridge will cover the cost of the printer and intelf, and then some, in the cash you save on buying drinks. Also, you'll be able to print what you want and avoid the scam that is print costs at the library.

Yearly tuition is around 5k-9, but with some finangling of 7 courses that didnt require attendance and little course work, plus minimal effort in applications, i was able to receive 23k in grants for the year. A good trick is to enroll in a STEM degree, but take as few of the actual courses as you can, while filling up the rest of your schedule with arts and literature.
